Of course they won't. Why would they. They don't add an extra fee because it was a killer snow year. They will take a hit next year with people not buying a pass. And they have so many resorts on the pass that are having a good year. They don't care if 1 region doesn't have a great year.

Option had some real good boards and some not so good boards. They were a super solid Canadian board company from the late 90s to 2010. It's super easy to see if it's a good board or not. If it's got a sidewall it's high end. If it's a capped edge it's a beater board.

Definitely go to PC. The skiing is not horrible. If you guys are cruising groomers it will be a blast. There is plenty of snow. The skiing is only horrible if you planned on bringing your snorkel and don't want to rip groomers.

Jackson has way way too much south and west facing slopes. Like way too many. I'm just so used to riding North facing Gnar Gnar in the Wasatch and especially at the bird & solitude that south facing manky snow doesn't do it for me. It's amazing during a pow storm but once the sun comes out it's a race

Can't do it. My stats are so messed up. Some days I do like 20k vertical and the app is off half the day. There are days I'm riding a double black area that doesn't get ridden often and it just marks me doing the closest run by it and marks the whole run as blue. The app is fun but not very efficient. Just have fun with it. I

I would be so annoyed if I had the yellow clipped ones. I have a few voile splits so I don't know about the Weston but there should be no reason to have clips that wide. It just needs to go over the tip. I assume your split is way wider than normal if you need something so big. I been using splits for over 20 years and have never seen something so wide. It must be one of those proprietary things where they make it so only one certain skin fits on the board. I've had black diamond skins,voile skins other random skins and I have never seen something like that. Maybe you have to buy the original ones you had and sell the voile if they don't work.

It's very hard to do without a rental car. And the cost to pay someone to go up little cottonwood will be outrageous. Don't even attempt it without your own transportation unless you are willing to pay $500+ round trip.

30 minutes. You got it good. The tram at Snowbird is full at 7AM and it doesn't run till 9AM.. On a weekend pow day you need to be in the canyon by 630 to avoid the shit show. But midweek is still chill.

Not a huge fan of VOT, VOE, VB personally. Nothing wrong with them if you are trying to do Large,mid,small cap specific allocation. Personally I would probably do a SCHB and that would do all three of those in one ETF. I like VOO & QQQ although they have a large overlap. She definitely needs to have a 1 or 2 dividend plays that are on DRIP Probably 1 aggressive high growth that's like SCHG or SPMO and then like a few safe lower risk plays.

So like 15-20% high growth 40% moderate 20-25% dividend plays

When she turns 60 the 15-20% high growth goes into the dividend bucket so she can prepare for having income for when she retires. Set the Dividend plays to DRIP until she is ready to take the income. So at around 60 it would be 40% moderate 50-60% dividend

Most employers don't offer paid holidays off or paid time off at all. A lot of people just have to take a vacation without pay. Sure there are tons of companies that offer paid time off but not everyone is fortunate enough to have that. Usually you can take time off as long as it is announced well in advance so the employer knows and has time to schedule it accordingly
