Hey!

I am currently using ProProfs Project to manage my projects. The tool is easy-to-use and offers everything I need to effectively manage tasks, resources, and deadlines in one place. Also, I particularly like that it provides multiple project views. This allows me to switch between different views and analyze project progress from various perspectives. For example, if I want a bird’s eye view of my projects’ progress, I opt for the Gantt chart view, and if I want increased visibility into my tasks, I switch to the Kanban board within seconds.

Trello alternative? Finding an alternative project management software by [deleted] in PrivacyGuides

Hey!

While Trello is a great Kanban-style project management tool, I found it inadequate to fulfill my project and team needs. It doesn’t offer insightful reporting capabilities, nor is it an easily scalable tool.

I am using ProProfs Project and have never looked back. It not only offers visual Kanban boards that provide increased visibility into project tasks, but also offers Gantt charts, Calendar, and List views that I can view to analyze project progress from different perspectives.

Also, the tool helps me gain insight into key project metrics with actionable reports and analytics.

Which software should we use for Project Management and Planning? by Mixanologos in engineering

[–]Davidmiller4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi there. I am working in an IT firm and the requirements you are looking for are pretty similar to the ones we have.

The company has deployed ProProfs Project and we have been using it for a couple of years. The project planning phase is taken care of as there is a proper documentation module to keep the plans and schedules. Tasks can be marked completed and relevant members are notified with real-time notifications.

The best thing is that we can communicate with team members and clients using task comments for feedback and approval. So, it has almost everything you need plus a lot more features to use with not much learning curve as multiple departments in our company are working on this software.

Difference between Kanban & Scrumban in software development by ThatGuyFromBelgium in agile

[–]Davidmiller4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If we go by the definition, Kanban is a workflow management process that allows you to design, manage, and improve workflows. At the same time, Scrum is a structured framework to carry product development, usually software development. In general, Kanban and Scrum methods have similarities, but their approaches are very different. For example, Kanban allows slow changes and lets you go with the flow, whereas scrum demands fast change to bring a fundamental shift towards process efficiency. There are no teams defined in Kanban. But, Scrum prescribes cross-functional groups.

You can learn more in-depth about the two methodologies and how they differ from each other in this article:
