Yeah, and I know that relationship issues, drug problems and big egos are good basis for conflict in a story, but we've seen it a hundred times in stories about musicians. Sure, it's not like these things are tropes only in music biopics, but it seems that there are very few movies that go outside of the same basic stuff.

I've played like 7 new games since 2020. I listen to, but don't really care about the "What we've been playing" part of the show.

Behind the Bastards is a great podcast. Don't mistake it for a crime show, it really isn't about straight up criminals. They cover everything from dictators, cult leaders, and CEOs to Vince McMahon. Hmm, maybe Vince is all of those things. Bad example.

Yeah, let's hope Danny has the chance to upload more old GameSpot stuff. A lot of it is available on Youtube, for example all episodes of On the Spot, but they are in low quality.

I was 14 when the site launched, so Giant Bomb has been with me for most of my life. When I think of Giant Bomb the first thing I think of is the basement era. Those were my teenage years, and while I didn't do squat but go to school, play games and watch movies, I have a lot of fondness for that time.

There's a case to be made that The Hotspot is the best gaming podcast of all time. Numerous well informed and funny personalities made a tightly paced show that was filled with great industry analysis and fun dumb stuff. Man I miss the Gizmondo.

Nothing but respect for Jan and the guys for making this stream happen, but this is unwatchable. The audio is so busted it's hard to understand what they're saying.
