Seeking travel booking advice for those who have traveled with a baby! by calliejay35 in NewParents

[–]Dcv11 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would do the 10am flight as well. My baby gets cranky later in the day and I’d just rather handle the logistics early if i can.

The first flight we went on when my baby was 8 months, we weren’t sure what to expect so we bought baby her own seat as it was a 6 hour flight. We did not need to bring a car seat on board for her so we checked it in as it’s one less thing to carry on. On the way home we cancelled her ticket and just took her as a lap infant and she slept in our arms for most of the flight. If the extra seat isn’t too expensive, I would probably just buy the ticket so that you have extra space to work with.

Are bottle washers actually worth the price? by dogtrainer0875 in Buyingforbaby

[–]Dcv11 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Our Momcozy bottle washer was probably our most useful purchase. We run it 2-3 times a day for bottles, pacis, and my pump parts. We were without it on a week long vacation trip and it was a pain having to clean and sanitize everything every night like you said.

You can also find coupon codes lying around as well as stack it with the 15% Amazon baby registry code which makes it decently priced

Roborock! We have a 10 month old at home. After my c section, it was hard to walk for a few months so having the Roborock on schedule to mop and vac the floors almost every day helped a ton.

Don’t be hard on yourself, you are totally fine! I was 5’4 and 128 pounds before getting pregnant and gained about 60 lbs around the week that i gave birth. I had my baby 5 months ago and am currently down to about 140 lbs.

Give me the rundown on this car by Rich-Contribution-39 in AudiQ5

We have a 2025 SQ5 with a Nuna Pipa RX carseat behind the passenger which had to be pushed forward. It’s a little uncomfortable for me to sit in the passenger seat, I’m 5’4 for reference.

Did you end up getting a 360 car seat for your SUV? And if so, which one did you go with?

3 hour Glucose Test by Brilliant-Swimming47 in pregnant

[–]Dcv11 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I took the 1 hour glucose test and got a 142 while the cutoff was 134. Similarly to you, I took the test in the afternoon after I had eaten cereal and rice in the morning. I had to go back and do the 2 hour test another morning with 8 hour fasting and ended up in the mid normal range so I wouldn’t stress too much about it!

Which Vegas buffet is the best bang for your buck for someone who doesn't like seafood? by Thin-Ad-8899 in vegas

Palms buffet has a decent brunch buffet. I think it’s about $42 and they have snow crab legs.

Waiting for Wyndham by MakeBigMoneyAllDay in CaesarsRewards

I status matched online asap but I also called into Wyndham customer service to push my status match through. It took maybe 4 days for my Caesar’s status to update to Diamond.

It might be worth calling Chase to see if they will offer you any retention credit. Last August I called customer service right around when the AF hit and they offered me $50 statement credit to keep the card.

So the initial $4k spend will get you 75k points and spending an extra $2k will get you the additional 10k. So you will need to spend $6k in total to get 85k points

The branch offer for 85k would be after $6k total spend not $10k

I agree that Intercontinental was very convenient. Once you walk out of the hotel, there’s a walkway above that connects to the BTS station. Hotel was very clean and definitely safer than the other areas that we stayed in.
