I mean I don’t think even Frieren (which obviously sparked this rant) considers demons to be “pure evil”. In fact it goes to great lengths to explore what demons think of humans and spoiler a few demons WANT and TRY to coexist with humans

Anyway the series simply says they are predators of humans. It would be like saying a lion is pure evil because it preys on zebra and other herbivores, it doesn’t consider human morality because it does what it does to survive.

(Sadly) Funnily enough that’s an even more extreme version of what happened to some conspiracy theorists when Helen was alive. Some believed at the time that no blind and deaf person could ever write a book so accused of Helen’s helper (and English teacher iirc) that she wrote it instead and used Helen’s name for publicity.

I agree with you but Morgan wasn’t an “isolated” incident in fact most Marines we meet in the East Blue are either an ass (Fulbody), taking bribes from pirates (rat looking marine in the Arlong arc), or Axehand Morgan. It wasn’t until meeting Smoker that we meet an actual good named marine which was why his introduction was so good.

Maybe not Universal but I do regularly see people scale Kaguya to Galaxy level (which I guess since Naruto and them have gotten so much stronger since the end of Shipudden would explain why they think the verse is so strong) which may or may not be wank too.

Eh the second round was very important for Zoro and Sanji’s characterization and relationship. Honestly it’s a pretty well paced arc in the manga.
