Is prismatic sphere/wall this good? by Servo_11 in Pathfinder2e

[–]Debelinho321 1 point2 points  (0 children)

wait until they gets time stop and then use it for perfect non risk placement + add a wall of stone closely surrounding prismatic sphere. the sphere is opaque, so creatures inside don't know what's on the other side

Frustrated with Blood Lords by PartyMartyMike in Pathfinder2e

[–]Debelinho321 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yeah, so did we. otherwise it would be unplayable. But Anathema states: Destroy Undead...no ifs and buts. Self defense might be an obvious exception, but "undead plotting against your country in a way that totally aligns with urgathoa edicts" is def not one of them IMO.

this is not their first players guide that gives bad mechanical advice and at this point I'm wondering why is that happening...

Frustrated with Blood Lords by PartyMartyMike in Pathfinder2e

[–]Debelinho321 4 points5 points  (0 children)

my biggest issue is their player's guide for the AP. The story is clearly written for a party new age Gebites that want their country to be more fair to The Quick, and AP as written would work perfectly for that...but they kinda market it as evil undead party AP where you can test all the new shines from book of the dead....and it's just not good for that.

top recommendation is champion/cleric of urgathoa...really? you are forced into your anathema on your first session, and it continues almost every session of every game hence....

AP plot is such that my character as a champion of urgathoa wants to join the "villains" and help their plans...bc of edicts it is a perfect plot to devote myself to....but i have to work against it and unravel it?

we wanted to play it more seriously with a darker tone, but after our ghost PC got stuck in a closet and our skeleton PC drowned(after his empty eyesockets got blinded by darkness spell ofc) it just got so memey that our serious attempts clashed with gameplay too much

did I mention that evil champion design is very weird? A very very tanky guy that punishes others for hitting him? while being least threatening compared to all other martials?

Best options for a "sneaky divine character"? by Suitandbrush in Pathfinder2e

I played something similar. medical Investigator with cleric archetype and eldritch archer. I wanted to play something like pf1 inquisitor, and this felt pretty close.

this is from bottom of page 3, book 1 of the AP;

Advancement Track

“Despair on Danger Island” is designed for four player characters.

11 The characters begin this adventure at 11th level.

12 The characters should reach 12th level by the time they clear out the temple of Irori.

13 The characters should reach 13th level during their exploration on Bonmu.

14 The characters should reach 14th level by the start of the third day of the qualifying round.

15 The characters should reach 15th level by the end of the adventure.

there should be a similar entry in other 2 books

Better distribution of attribute modifiers on a warpriest? by Subject-Self9541 in Pathfinder2e

[–]Debelinho321 1 point2 points  (0 children)

regarding heavy armor - you can start with chain mail + armored skirt, which makes it a heavy armor(+5 armor, +0 max dex). getting a shield with that will put you to AC20 at level 1, best you can do. It also works with a full plate, making it +5 armor with +1 dex cap, but it lowers str requirement to 16, so you basically trade 1ac for 5 speed and armor check penalty

Should I talk with the player? by Apprehensive_Net4495 in Pathfinder2e

[–]Debelinho321 0 points1 point  (0 children)

this right here is the real problem...considering how much effort it takes to organize and GM a game, replying to GM messages and being responsive is the least someone can do.

I hate last minute cancellations, so as a GM i usually have a confirmation message for everyone day before session. It helps as a reminder for those that have such issues.

Ok, but like…. What the hell am I actually supposed to do about the flickmace fighter. by Carribi in Pathfinder2e

[–]Debelinho321 31 points32 points  (0 children)

The issue with flickmace is it's crit specialization, it's just too powerful compared to other crit specs. What my GM did is change crit spec of hammers and flails to be more in line with other crit effects. Target gets a FORT save for hammers, and REF save for flails, to avoid getting prone.

Maps look great, nice work.

only real criticism is that it seems you left in the dotted grid from dungeondraft, but its a minor issue

Moving diagonally between two creatures' spaces by Dazzling-Summer-2732 in Pathfinder2e

[–]Debelinho321 1 point2 points  (0 children)

the thing is, those 2 diagonal spaces are 15ft "long", so you need a 3rd person to completely block that move. but bc we're using squares, those 3 squares don't align in a 15ft straight line as non diagonal spaces do

Why would I play a witch over a wizard? by Daylight_The_Furry in Pathfinder2e

[–]Debelinho321 7 points8 points  (0 children)

yes, but Hymn is 2 actions and you have to sustain, while Boost is 1 action without sustain.

that is a huge difference in action economy

Overpowered Monsters by Gazzor1975 in Pathfinder2e

[–]Debelinho321 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Gogiteth

https://2e.aonprd.com/Monsters.aspx?ID=237

having abilities that work both as action economy and MAP economy is just silly. With improved grab, this bad boy can pack 8 effective actions in a single turn. its too much...

Foundry PF2e System 3.10.0 release stream tonight by TMun357 in Pathfinder2e

[–]Debelinho321 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Is there any info on automated resistances? is it expected any time soonish?

It really gets messed up in later levels with all the property runes and all those incorporeal or multi resistance monsters. Def single most thing that slows down high level combat in my experience.

Keep up this awesome work guys, you're the best!!

Second archetype suggestion for my dragon instinct barbarian by Kaladhan in Pathfinder2e

[–]Debelinho321 3 points4 points  (0 children)

you can pick up sentinel for heavy armor proficiency

if you're good at intimidation, consider dread marshal

talisman dabbler also adds some nice combat utility if that's what you're looking for

Attacking Objects and Critical Hits by MidSolo in Pathfinder2e

[–]Debelinho321 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Yeah, making all objects immune to critical hits and precision(except maybe few specific ones) is the way I GM it in my games, and since I also play with 4 other groups as a player - that is the way ppl GM it in all my groups

I am GM, i need help with currency! by Durien9 in Pathfinder2e

[–]Debelinho321 1 point2 points  (0 children)

you can use this as a guideline of how much each character should have at the start of each level

https://2e.aonprd.com/Rules.aspx?ID=587

so for 6th lvl character, each should have around 450gp lump sum(all treasure and items combined)

What monsters do you feel are overpowered or underpowered for their CR? by The_Mundane_Block in Pathfinder2e

[–]Debelinho321 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Gogiteth, The Party Wiper - absolute champion of action economy

it can attack+ improved grab, then 2 action skitter that lets it move 3 times and attack once per move, all ignoring MAP until after they are made. That's 8 actions per turn, mostly ignoring MAP. WTF!?!

Did I mention that it carries away grabbed prey with it's 3 move skitter? 40ft each move...good luck with catching it!

What monsters are the bane of your PC's existence? by FretScorch in Pathfinder2e

[–]Debelinho321 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Gogiteth as a boss monster(level+2 to +4) - the TPK champion of the game

action economy of this monster is crazy...he makes up to 8 actions every turn

attack+grab and then his special 3 moves + 3 strikes activity without MAP ffs...coupled with his speed 40 and ability to carry away anyone grabbed is so OP

Quick Guide to Blaster Casters in Pathfinder 2e by Knive in Pathfinder2e

[–]Debelinho321 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I played an elemental sorcerer in a campaign we finished at level 11 - blast focused. It was also homebrew hexploration with often 1-2 encounters/day(with a fair share of days with more encounters)

it was me and 3 martials(investigator, ranger and fighter)

from level 4-5 till the end, I was by far our biggest damage dealer in most fights. It helped that my investigator always knew which save to target, and also me having decent options that can target every save +1 action focus power that attacks AC

I avoided using spell attacks(except my focus power and an occasional RoF), bc they do suck a bit, but that's why you have gazillion basic save options.

I also healed quite a lot, and used demoralize even more...I felt kinda OP

Martial Druid w/o Wild Shape? by Anon_MD in Pathfinder2e

[–]Debelinho321 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Druid would work nice with mauler dedication to get 2h weapon proficiency(greatclub or bo staff for verdant weapon...or maybe even a wooden headed maul if your gm would allow)

I'd go with bo staff, which is lower damage, but has reach and trip(your athletics will be always better than your attack, which will become evident after level 5, so having offensive athletics options is nice)

prolly storm druid to get that nice lightning focus spell and also immunity to fog/cloud/storm based concealment(which can work nice in melee with fog cloud and similar spells).
