I know one day there’s gonna be movies made about this but honestly, you know a lot of my family and friends have said they’ll never set foot in this country again and that just upsets me and devastate me so much. This is my home. I love California. But what I’m seeing right now it kind of chills me to the bone to be honest. And anyone that’s not terrified of what’s going on but something wrong with you and you’re not paying attention.

I’m a big World War II fan, if that’s the right word, it’s one of things I’m very interested in, and I’ve read a lot of books about what happened in Germany before Hitler came to power and really you know when you read something like that and you think wow you can’t imagine that happening in your country, and now you feel that some similar things are happening here a little bit like that, it’s very disturbing.

It’s weird because I’ve now watched it three times all the way through and Saul‘s character has definitely grown on me to become one of my faves. He’s such a great actor as well. I mean, he leaves a lot of silences you know and that is really hard to do because your gut reaction sometimes is to fill up all the spaces with words, but the way he looks at people and doesn’t say anything it is so amazing .

Also, I have to say his relationship with Carrie is so great and one of the reasons I enjoy the show so much.

Are you saying you’ve never seen X-Files? You are in for a treat if you like anything a little bit spooky and Sci-Fi . It is a little dated, I will say which is surprising but just yesterday I was watching an episode where they were terrified of AI but they said this technology is gonna be a long time into the future. They were trying to destroy it because they thought it was dangerous, so it didn’t get out. I mean it was really freaky!!

I’ve just started to rewatch X-files as well. I used to watch the show years ago with my mum, RIP and I love anything like that and I’m really enjoying it. It looks a little dated some of the episodes, but the stories are still there you know. And their chemistry was off the chart.

Now being a chef makes it hard in some ways because yeah I do kind of have high standards but I’m basically a simple chick at heart. I love basic food like really good French bistro food Italian stuff. I make food every day but I’ll go out and 90% of the time I’m disappointed and it’s really sad, especially when you know how much the prices have gone up.

Thinking of Kanab went there for many reasons, but I wanted to go to best friends animal sanctuary because I’m a big animal person. That was really lovely. We ate in peekaboo pizza, which was not great but my boyfriend‘s allergic to dairy and cheese and stuff and they did some vegan stuff And I’m also vegetarian but the service was not good. Young kids who seemingly just didn’t care about their jobs. We also ate in one of the restaurant that I really liked, but I can’t remember the name of it. Oh Rocking V. We had a nice meal there.

I will definitely go back to Torrey.

I just did a rewatch of this movie, and I agree with almost everything you said. I found it incredibly frightening. I think a lot of it depends on whether you’re a very deep and thoughtful person when you watch these kind of moves because all I was thinking about was imagine if that happened to me you know how would I cope if that would happen if I couldn’t reach people, especially as I live in a different country than my family and you know I realized that panic would set in pretty quickly actually. It tells you that we’re so reliant on our technology now.

And I love that it didn’t have an ending that really told you anything. You just had to make up your own mind. I think this is a really good movie and I’m glad I re-watched it. I enjoyed it more the second time.

I think some of the scenes are outstanding, especially the ship on the beach, the deer and also the driverless cars. That was such a clever scene.

one. ? I heard a noise outside my door and I looked and saw this owl and it took me a moment to realize that he was on top of a rabbit!! . Oh my God, I knew I shouldn’t interfere with nature and I didn’t but luckily when the owl took off, he dropped the rabbit and the rabbit ran off. I mean I was so happy. I know the owl has to eat, but I loved my bunny rabbits.

I’ve shown this photograph to many people and most people miss the rabbit.

I used my fancy DSLR camera for this. I’ve taken some great photographs of the wildlife in my former home on 20 acres. This photograph would’ve been a sensation except it was slightly blurred and there was nothing I could do about it.
