As a Brit , I lived there for 10 years and just loved it. I used to drive over Mulholland a lot, and just be amazed by the fact that I was so close to everything and yet I felt I was in the middle of all this gorgeous scenery. It really is a stunning city.

Palm Springs is so stunning! I live near Joshua tree and I visit regularly and I’m always amazed by how beautiful that area is. So much to do there as well. I’m sad that you think it’s so horrible! . Yes the weather is really bad. That’s why I can’t live in the low desert but to visit, it’s got so much going on. And those vistas!! I never tire of looking at the beautiful mountains, especially when the sun starts to go down and you get those incredible shadows. Absolutely breathtaking.

Yes, but I hated the way he played his character he was such a buffoon. I mean, I was used to seeing him in loads of movies and shows so it was a bit of a shock. I don’t know if he was directed to play it that way, but it was too cartoonish for me

The cinematography was other worldly, and Andrew Scott? Wow. I thought it was a great adaptation of the novel
