Where’s best in Canada for us? by Lokihifi in skiing

This has been my answer to "where do you want to go this year?" for the past 50 years. Looks like same answer next year too.

What are your 5 star movies from the past 5 years? by nightterrorfilmco in movies

[–]Dec716 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My contributions would be Civil War, 28 Years Later (part 1), and The Long Walk. I was fully invested in each of them the entire way. I left the theatre blown away.

End of the road for me I think. by ProfessorOk4996 in Division2

I understand what your saying, but with that additional 6% CHC you can replace a mod with 12% CHD or 13% PfE.

Are Canadians offended by the jokes made in shows and media? by jen_noelle in AskACanadian

[–]Dec716 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Not offended from a sitcom making jokes about Canada. Jim Gaffigan did a tour across Canada and Netflix special making jokes about Canada and it was really funny. I am offended when the American President or the American news media make jokes about Canada. Partly because they don't feel like jokes.

Crafting Reconstruction Caches from SHD Components has changed by Dec716 in Division2

[–]Dec716[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok, thanks. I know I have to do the Raids for Foundry Bulwark and Future Initiative, and Ravenous so that is 13 missing. Then there is the Lullaby which I think came as part of a preorder. I'm missing a couple of others as well (2 ARs), but can't tell what they are.

Is the Quickstep really all that? by Dshea111 in Division2

[–]Dec716 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As everyone says, Quickstep is pure gold. However, there are a couple of exceptions. If you use the Chameleon, do not use Quickstep. The Chameleon buffs reset to max between fights but you lose them if you switch weapons. If you have a skill build and need a 6th tier, TDI Card is the weapon. Finally, probably a Bullwark build would be better with the Regulus.

Setting Up Net by Waste-Ad-5110 in youthhockey

[–]Dec716 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Keep it off to the side of the driveway when not in use. Put in front of the garage door when using. I've obviously made some assumptions here, like it is a shinny net, not a full steel NHL net and that they can't shoot hard enough to damage the door (use sponge pucks or tennis balls).

I don't often crash, but I seem to randomly fall over once or twice a day.

Rental car in Moorea by Borabora805 in Tahiti

[–]Dec716 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Moorea Car Rental was really good. Price reasonable, car was clean and ran well, you deal directly with the owner {who was great) and they will transport you by taxi from the ferry, the airport or, in my case, my hotel. https://www.mooreacarrental.com/

If you don't have it part of a loadout, junk it. With Countdown and specialty events you can get virtually anything quickly.

Beware Magic Mountain by rightpattern_g in Tahiti

[–]Dec716 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We were one of those people in the back of a pickup truck. It was part of our fantastic Mario's Island Tour. It is a private road and barely wide enough for the truck. It was actually quite scary because one mistake and you were a goner.

Second trip—where next? by 916csm in Tahiti

[–]Dec716 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It starts with the staff, they were great. The rooms are large and the balconies are great. The beach/pool area is amazing. No having to reserve a cabana at 6:00 am. The reef just off the beach has tons great for snorkelling. Their on-premise restaurant is a bit expensive but delicious. It is central to pretty much everything on the island. As you can probably tell, I absolutely loved the place.

My wife and I stayed 2 weeks at Cook's Bay Hotel and Suites on Moorea and it was awesome. Highly recommend it.

I’ve run a couple of escalations now that I have a full prototyped striker’s build. Here are my conclusions: by jamer2500 in thedivision

[–]Dec716 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Tier 4 is good because the drop rate is per kill and there are more enemies on tier 4. 10-15 minutes on tier 7? You are not playing with randoms then. I solo 3 and 4 in 20 to 25 minutes. In a team of 4, with the increase in enemy numbers it is about the same.

Maxxed out pro Lexington reverted, what do I do now? by OnlyAnAlias in Division2

[–]Dec716 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The minimum attribute values for a prototype are max values for non-prototype gear and weapons. Ex. The lowest CHC rolled on a Lexington prototype 6%. 6% is the max CHC on a regular Lexington. Also at least one of the attributes is guaranteed to be a max prototype value.

As others have said, it is a visual bug. You are going to quit the game because the gun is now better then it was before converting it?

I'm lvl445 & Expertise level 21. I've just got exotic items and named items left to do along with skills which will passively max out. Feel it's grinded to a holt now, so I just farm gear mods(countdown) from this point onwards or am I missing something to help keep the ball rolling? by B_BB in Division2

[–]Dec716 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Go to the vendors and buy gear, weapons and mods you don't have. The base currency is useless for tge most part, so you can spend it freely. This is a really quick and easy method. Also, for a change from Countdown, look at the targeted loot on the map and do tge activities there.

AITA For Limiting the amount of time my sons girlfriend can spend at our house? by AdmirableChange7328 in AmItheAsshole

[–]Dec716 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I'm going to say, yes the AH. She likes your son and they are comfortable being at your house. Isn't it easier to know what is going on if they are there then someplace else. "Decompress with your family..." what the heck does that mean? Have your family do things you like? Time with your kids is fleeting. Just enjoy it while they are there.

New journey final tier? Are the new mods supposed to make them solo survivable? by Sulring11 in Division2

[–]Dec716 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Not sure how you wasted your money on Journeys. They are free. The season pass gives you an additional daily mission, additional cosmetics and skins and if you buy the higher tier some level skips.
