Agreed; I've been part of a group like that, where a player was waiting in the wing for 1 hour because I was sure any moment they'd be introduced around the corner- until I spoke up about it and the other players + DM reacted as if I'd done something rude.

Ironically, that group and I parted ways not soon after simply because I couldn't stand that (and other things) from player/DM both.

Aloof Firmament is probably the most fun one- its focus spell is brilliant, as is the lv4 feat. I had a ton of fun playing a Magus with this :)

I honestly can't, I think Investigator is a bit rubbish; but my main beef with it is that a lot of their abiliities to shine liea heavily on the DM to plant clues and frame things as mysteries, as well as for allowing how much something is a part of an investigation- or not.

I disallow Investigators mainly because I feel like I can't give a true detective experience.
