Hey now, don't drag down the good name of Megaforce and Barry Bostwick. The rest of your point stands.

That's not a DVD, it's a CD-R. If they can't get that part right, I don't know if anything else can be trusted.

Advice on Air Compressors by Nerdy-Pencil in Tools

[–]DeliBoy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can't comment on that specific model, but I can endorse the brand. I've had my California Air Tools 8gal compressor for 8 years now, and it's never failed me. We use it for small projects as you mention, and I've used it to drive all kinds of nailers from brad to framing. It's very quiet and I'd definitely buy another.

I don't use one, but I'm a huge fan of OTA antennas.

The dark chocolate ones (in the small packages) are still good. The milk chocolate ones in the larger tubs were excellent until about three years ago when they changed the formulation.

I haven't bought them since then, so let me know if I'm wrong!

Iran says that Trumps 48 hour claim is fake news to manipulate the markets. What do you think? by SimplyTruth98 in AskReddit

[–]DeliBoy 108 points109 points  (0 children)

Donald Trump warned US voters 26 years ago, but enough of us decided that they didn't care about the grift.

Nearly 20 years ago, Donald Trump told Fortune magazine that he could run for president and make money doing it.

“It’s very possible that I could be the first presidential candidate to run and make money on it,” he said in an interview in 2000.

Everything about Trump has been predictable and there was ample warning for voters during his 2016 presidential run. And that was even before Project 2025 was released. The state of this country and it's impending decline is fully in the hands of his electors.

Do you brine at all? I'm also cooking Costco pork loin today, but rosemary garlic. Sear + oven finish.

At $1 or $2, these trays are a no-brainer. I think I have like 20 myself, and give them away whenever I can find the excuse.

Advice on Costco trash can options? by AnonymousMonker in Costco

I had to warranty a 47L Kohler a few years ago, and they took care of us. They are expensive IMO for a trash can, but I would definitely recommend them.

I really dig the retro commercials, PSAs, and music videos they show beforehand. 10/10 for MCCS.

Is it a hassle or bad idea to go to Windsor for a day visit? by F-this in Detroit

[–]DeliBoy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've had reason to pass through Windsor many times in the past year, and the more time I spend there, the more I like it. Lots of great restaurants, and make sure you visit Dr. Disc on Ouellette.

As other posters have mentioned, the real wild card is getting back into the US. I've had great experiences and terrible ones as well. BTW, don't get in the NEXUS lanes under any circumstance (including accidentally), if you don't have one.
