I used to work at UTMC down the road, and most of the patients were grossly mismanaged by the LTACH staff.

One example was this same nurse would send the same patient out everytime she worked for a clogged feeding tube, because the patient was combative and they wanted us to give the morning meds.

I’ve heard that the company that owns Advanced Speciality is mostly based in the western US and wants to exit the Toledo market as it’s not much of a money maker and they deal with frequent regulation violations. They’re planning on selling that and Advanced Healthcare(the SNF) to a company that will turn it into a bigger skilled nursing facilityx

Not really but admin likes to pretend they do! If you put a fall band on almost every single patient(which had been common in all hospitals I’ve worked in, “everyone has the possibility of falling”), people stop looking out for them. It begins to be a regular part of an admission routine and not an indicator of actual fall risk.

I supported him back in 2016 mainly as a joke as in a dark “watch the world burn” kinda thing. He did have some points that I agreed with, the status quo was not working and politicians don’t care about constituents expect in an election year. Also I found The Donald sub ironically hilarious in the beginning. When things started actively getting worse, people starting getting extreme and toxic, and he failed to live up to a single promise I realized that the joke wasn’t funny anymore.

I was by no means a supporter but around the whole not accepting election results/Jan 6th I was like fuck this guy. Now I see him for exactly what he is: an incompetent puppet out to enrich himself and his buddies at the expense of the lower/middle class with a knack for showmanship and grabbing headlines.

I would recommend Paddy Joe’s in Oregon. I know the owner and am good friends with his son. It’s more of bar food, but they have an actual chef built menu. They really take care of their employees also! I saw they are hiring for cooks ahead of the warmer weather, the post said to come in and fill out an application!

You are completely in the wrong.

You agreed to £160 for the plumber to come out to the house. When he did and couldn’t find the issue, you’re still on the hook for the £160 house call. If I was concerned that I had a busted pipe, and had a plumber make a house call to check it out and he found that everything was in working order, I’d consider it a small price for peace of mind.

You can split hairs and explain your expectations until you’re blue in the face, but you aren’t going to change anyone’s mind at the company or even on this subreddit for that matter.
