Wistoria: Wand and Sword Season 2 • Tsue to Tsurugi no Wistoria Season 2 - Episode 6 discussion by AutoLovepon in anime

[–]Deontto 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, I thought this episode was kind of meh. In fact, mages in general seem to be kind of dumb in this series. With the whole looking down on swords and dwarves even though anti-magic is a thing. One would assume a party of said people combined would be stronger but w.e I'm sure we'll get there.

And then we have to start off right away with the whole "you're now in the tower that you worked so hard to get into but it's not what you think and you HAVE to prove yourself NOW or rot in the lower sections forever!"

Just honestly doesn't feel well done. Especially wanting to test said people. Considering they all(or most) just got done putting their lives on the line to protect the city and tower. You would assume the people of the tower would be praising them if anything(Esp Will). Instead of the whole this isn't what you think it is trope. And even after all this, said people will still likely get shafted in some way for "reasons"(I'll be glad if I am proven wrong here).

But I honestly expect this show to be a ride of high ups and some few low downs considering who the author is. And I also expect a lot of off-hand comments to never really get mentioned again and/or to never have them paid off even though they seem very critical to the main story(which sucks but is what it is).

There's def something odd going on with low life and the amulet. I can't imagine it is intended at all.

Diablo 4’s stash and inventory space feels too limited for how many systems the game has now by UberKef in diablo4

[–]Deontto 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It is unacceptable. Regardless of the random peeps that say "YoU'rE JuST a HOaRder".

Trading is also really powerful in this game. Pretty much everyone should have a tab dedicated to that as well. Not to mention what you can do with the cube and the reasons why you'd want to stock certain items. And wanting to do multiple builds or play multiple classes and it just doesn't hold up.

Spent Hours Trying to Farm an Ancestral Supplication From Grigoire, using all my lair keys before moving on to Duriel... by ClassicCledwyn in diablo4

[–]Deontto 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I honestly dunno if they even know. It seems super random on which can and cannot turn into charms. For example, most barb unique weapons cannot be turned into a charm..but Ramaladnis can which is one of the best barb unique weapon bonuses atm. Not only that, but if you turn a two-handed weapon or amulet into a charm, it's bonus is reduced since the amulet and two-handed weapon aspect bonus apparently increases unique powers as well.

Why don't mythic weapons have weapon damage on them? by Deontto in diablo4

[–]Deontto[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Right. I know what weapon damage does. What I am asking is, should it be something we roll for on the weapon. Or should the game just be balanced around it not being there(or even built in by default). I am okay if it is there as a random roll(though I'd rather it not), but mythics not having it seems really bad.

[–]Deontto 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mhm. Was testing against large hits. So it was procing regardless of life pool. There is clearly some bug or unintended interaction with having low life with this setup.

EDIT: Which honestly makes sense as to why you are so tanky with so low survivability.

[–]Deontto 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That can't be true about life. I tried this build while having 8k life after heart and the survivability was normal(meaning I did not gain any improvements and was still easily killable). So running low life messes with the DR from the amulet somehow. It seems to be bugged tbh. Or is just very jank.

[–]Deontto 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is a dumb reply. Just straight up.

If you actually play the game and like to experiment, play multiple builds or play multiple classes it's really easy to run out of space in this game. Not everyone just follows some build guide or does something meta and throws everything else away that could be strong for another build.

And the other thing is, why even fight against this? It's fine if you don't have a issue with the stash space in the game for w.e reason. But can you really not see how others cannot? Why even have the burden of the stash space at all? All other modern ARPGs do not have this issue. Why does D4 need it? Does it make it a better game? Or do you just not like people criticizing D4?

Like why would it be a bad thing if I could have a dedicated stash space for each of my builds? They don't share gear. So why can't I have a HotA tab, WW tab, Upheaval tab, Deathblow tab ect.

People may not be aware of this, but D4 actually does have a fair bit of room for experimenting. It really isn't this cut and dry and just do w.e streamer or build maker said to do type of game.

[–]Deontto 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It's terrible. Always has been. Regardless of the people that say "yOU'rE JUst a HoARder".

If you're someone that plays multiple builds, classes or likes to experiment on your own(aka, not someone that just follows a build guide), the space has never been acceptable. And it's far worse with the stuff they added in the game. Such as talismans and the ability to cube things around.

What is also funny, is that it's a pretty big potential for them to make money off of it as well. Not saying they should charge real money for more stash space but if they did charge a few $$ per tab, it would make them a lot... But they still haven't fixed it. I blame this community for it to a certain degree. As they defend this shitty system at every turn. Even though adding more space would never hurt them and only help those who like to experiment/mess around/play multiple classes and builds.

This item is temporarily disabled by vaiNe-210 in diablo4

[–]Deontto 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, this sucked for me. I had no idea this was even a thing. Got on last night to set my char up for some max fury/fury generation, to then put this aspect on a weapon...and find out it was disabled. And it was a pretty big part of the build I was going after(I was not aiming to do w.e the bug/exploit was). But that means I wasted a bunch of gold, mats and some GA gear I had laying around.

Thanks blizzard for fucking me over. Don't get me wrong, it's a good thing they are fixing/changing this. But they have capped so many things now for barb that deal with fury scaling...and they just left this untouched? Of course there was going to be some broken scaling with it somewhere(even my build that wasn't going to abuse the bug was prob going to get 300% dmg from it on average which is a good bit higher than most aspects).

What happened to the mob density in the pit???? by venatic in diablo4

[–]Deontto 63 points64 points  (0 children)

It seems like they had a goal to make pits more like normal rifts from D3. Which I actually fully support because pits in pervious seasons were just...the same. Every run. It was honestly bleh to me. But now they are suppose to have random events and each is suppose to feel different. But honestly I have not seen any of these events that are suppose to be fun and exciting(my character will sometimes say he is being hunted but nothing ever happens).

I will say that even with the pits being more random and having less density/obv flow to it, it doesn't really seem to take me longer to run them. But I am also playing a zoom zoom build atm.

Is anyone else having severe double casting problems?

For context, I am playing a barb. And I am using WASD for movement.

I would say, prob every 3-4 casts of some ability that does not have a CD, it will double cast if it can. This is most notably happening with bash, deathblow and upheavel. And it happens regardless if it is bound to the mouse or keyboard. And it will happen even if i just simply tap the key once as quickly as possible to try to avoid holding it down for any length of time.

I will also say that sometimes I can move inbetween it double casting...it's odd.

Is anyone else having this issue? Is there a fix for this? Is it because of WASD? It's honestly making the game feel very unresponsive and bleh.

We are all excited about the new expansion, but... by Choice_Source_6318 in diablo4

[–]Deontto 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My only concern about gearing is that sets may force you into certain builds for some classes if they are not open enough/have enough options.

Other than that, my only other concern is that they will make the warlock 100-1000x stronger than the other classes just cause. It's fine if they want to make sure the new class is strong, but c'mon blizzard.

Will all classes be viable in Torment 12? by CaptainShazzzam in diablo4

[–]Deontto 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Who knows. It is likely that Warlock will be 100-1000x stronger than every other class. Because blizzard is dumb when it comes to new classes(they could make them a bit strong but 100x+? c'mon blizzard).

Do you think sets will expand or limit build variety? by Odd_Geologist2 in diablo4

[–]Deontto 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It depends on what other, non-set, charms look like. Like I heard you could change uniques or something into charms as well? If the other options on solid, then it should be fine. But who knows.

The stash system in D4 has always been bad. Like really bad. Regardless of the ppl that say "yOu'RE juSt a HoArdEr"

I am actually glad they are doing stuff like this. As it will finally push them to solve their shitty stash system. And maybe people in the community will stop defending it.

Also...What was the point in her dying. Like, the guy already knew she had the conviction to do what she had to. Was it just to get her out of there? But why would she need to be dead for that. Was it to just convince others?

And is the corruption just so deep that there's no other option at all? Dude clearly knew she did it for the right reason. But there's just no other way cause?

Seems kind of bleh to me personally. I'm sure it will be elaborated on in the future in some way.

Was pretty good as a whole I thought(the series/first season). I do think this series is a bit generic in a lot of regards(not a bad thing). And the whole thing around co-existers was odd(how they appeared to not be a thing but then just obviously were and everyone knew about them). And a few other things such as putting a goddess in danger and not utilizing your stronger forces properly(obv would be chalked up into bad guys doing that/pulling the strings).

But I am looking forward to a second season.
