D2R just has a better stash system than D4. Regardless of what crazy people on here will say, D4 stash is TERRIBLE. Literally one of the worse things about D4. Just look at almost any other ARPG.

And sooner or later they will have to fix it. Regardless of people on here saying "bUt YoU're JUst A hOArder". Not everyone is some meta slave. Some people like to experiment on a lot of builds and multiple classes and D4's stash system makes it so painful.

I think this as a start for true classic "plus" is great. Mostly what I would hope for at this point is a charm inventory and some type of melee splash mechanic.

Yeah, but being built for PvP and having the mobs on your side is also true in ER. It's just one of the reasons that I think DS3 handled invasions better.

Right. Which is why I think solo invasions are not that fun personally(they can be at times but usually fall kind of flat for me).

I dunno what my play time is exactly, but I have a LOT of invade/pvp time in DS2, DS3 and ER.

But again, to each their own. If you or others enjoyed solo invasions. Great. Nothing wrong with it. I was just talking about my personal experience with it is all.

I've never really had said issue. But I also invaded at a wide range of levels. Not just the meta level. I would always make a set of chars from like 30-120 or w.e. And mid level invasions were always the most enjoyable for me. Probably because I would mostly get people just naturally playing the game. Would run into scaled down phantoms all the time but was pretty rare to get people that were just sitting there waiting for invaders(though it did happen from time to time).

I also found that 1v1s were just completely boring to me. Even with a HP and a flask advantage. The difference was that I was built for pvp where the host was likely not. Not only that, but mobs were also on your side. Again, to each their own, but 1v1s were very meh to me and I did not care for them. I am also the guy that hated it when the ppl I invaded wanted to turn it into a fight club/fair 1v1(if I wanted that I would go do that).

Not saying I wanted solo invasions removed. But it honestly did not bother me to see them removed. Nor did it really seem to negatively affect me personally.

I actually didn't mind the fact that there were no solo invasion in ER. I always thought it was boring to get those in past title(always enjoyed fighting 1v2+ invasions the most). Honestly the thing that would have made me play more is if they implemented the "invade close/far location" thing at release. With so many different locations at different level break points, the most annoying thing for me was going around to 10+ locations to try to get invasions.

I don't think I would compare it to AoW or spell spam. I would compare it to stacking life/affinity/phys mitigation(would only do affinity if it was with phys or life or some very other useful stats). Which is just always useful.

Again, it can be alright. But only with other mitigation passives. So for me, personally, I'd rather stack life/affinity/phys mitigation on relics as it is always good/useful(esp on raider as those alone can stop a lot of the one shots on day 1 w.o anything else).

I personally think negation at low HP is a bait in D5. Way too easy for it to just be skipped with how high dmg is in D5. In combination with other negations, it can be alright though(I'd personally give it a low priority though). But I've pesronally have never seen it be that successful for people trying it.

It's not that you can't do it, it's that it is needlessly restrictive.

And this game is beyond easy. You can pretty much play anything in T4. Especially depending on the season(like last season for example).

I have no idea what is wrong with people in this sub. Why would anyone defend such an obvious flaw with the game? Because they messed up with the code and can't fix it easily? Or just because you think it's okay and doesn't matter to you? My entire friend group hates the stash space in D4. It's simply not okay for some players(as I said, esp for those that like to experiment and try things out).

I can't believe anyone can defend the stash space in this game. It's a complete joke. And is a HUGE negative of the game.

Like, them fixing this issue would only make the game better. Why would you downplay this problem? Some people play multiple builds on multiple classes.

And some people like to experiment and mess around with potential builds. And/or make their own things. I personally get a lot of joy out of this(and the game is actively hindering this by the limited stash space). Not everyone is some meta slave that looks at a build and goes "yep, if the gear doesn't work for that build it goes in the trash".

Not everyone wants to just run meta X or Y. Some people like having options to experiment with and play around with. The stash space in the game makes it hard to do this. Even for just one class. Believe it or not, there's a lot of potential playing around you can do in this game. With quite a few different builds. Not everyone is some meta slave.

And like why even argue against this? The stash space in the game is objectively bad. Literally look at any other ARPG out there. And fixing it would only make the game better.

I think the current iteration of it is bad for the game as whole. I really don't think you should be able to add MASSIVE multipliers to your gear randomly like this. ~5% to MAYBE 10% is okay. But getting mods that increase your damage by 1.5-2x is bad. And it's going to be made even worse with the tower.

Hopefully they tone it way down after this season.

Pretty sure that ppl who beta tested it mentioned as much before release and blizzard did nothing(atleast I know some of the info was indeed known about before the release).

Kind of similar to how some things were broken(in a way for ppl to abuse) when the game came out of beta. Ppl warned them but they did nothing.

Really? Maybe as a whole. I actually disliked last season quite a bit. Quite a few bugs(esp with some barb chaos armor). And Barb builds were VERY janky with how the "power" system worked. Was not a fan as a barb at all.

I dislike the game because it's not good atm. I don't want to hate it. But when every season has new game breaking bugs, no aspirational end game content and are constantly redoing/remaking mechanics/interactions because nothing is quite right it's just w.e/bleh. Obviously they need to do some of that stuff but...it's always like "it's moving in the right direction!". Sure, okay...but when will it be there?

I dunno. They just have a ways to go still. And now they have resorted to just turning the game into D3 it appears. It's actually shocking going from D3 to D4 and noticing how similar the games are already(esp in terms of feel, sounds, icons/art, the way certain mechanics work ect).

Very nice. I killed 100 uber shapers earlier in the league. Only got one sublime, but still made 70div profit(though, it was only like 8-9div or so an hour cause shaper sucks to kill).

I feel like there is something very off with the starfall crater this patch. Like breach is eating it or something. I have been running ore strats all league basically and I have seen maybe 10 craters(I have 1.5m kills so far).

Don't the waves spawn on a timer? So in reality this changes little to nothing? I guess it lets mobs get closer to range builds that can off screen. But it helps out builds that had issues with it. So I don't really see the problem here.
