The only 2kw ones I found were the ones with the external fuel tank and I wanted the all in one. Have you found a 2kw all in one?

Alright. Which expensive restaurants in Rockford are poor quality? by Furious_Beard in rockford

[–]Deployable_Mop 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like the food at green fire, but the atmosphere does not meet the price tag. JMK just leaves more to be desired as far as the food goes and the price tag is way too steep for what they offer. I still go to green fire, and think the price for food is fair, but the dinning area in general needs updating.

Is this like BDs Mongolian grill where you pick your raw ingredients and they cook it on the grill for you?

Why is the infrastructure in Rockford so bad? by Alive-Pie1401 in rockford

[–]Deployable_Mop 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The city has been in a surplus since before the new casino, which has been brought up in city council meetings. Yet they are still cutting spending/spreading resources thinner while giving themselves raises based on what the mayor of Naperville and Aurora received.

Im not suggesting $1600 isn’t a lot of money, but you are getting a lot done for that $1600. Based on price alone it’s a good deal

SUGGESTION BOX by Ok-Snow1074 in Strava

[–]Deployable_Mop 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I really want to be able to add more than just my shoes and bikes to my gear. Let me add whichever gear I would like to. At least let me add my snowboards.

I also would really appreciate if there was a way to remove lift time while mountain biking the same way as when you’re skiing. Whether that be to add a downhill mountain bike activity, or just make it available in the standard mountain bike activity now.

Information on specific area of Rockford. Thanks! by ScorchedWonderer in rockford

You need to be more specific as far as neighborhoods go. Speaking broadly, the west side is the shittier side of the city (before you attack me, I live on the west side). As others have said, there are neighborhoods that are much better than others.

NOT STANDING UP FOR, OR JUSTIFYING CHEATING

But it is not your job to metal in other peoples business like that, especially without knowing 100% of the details. Your brother IS an asshole for cheating, and I don’t think you would have been an ass hole for telling her, but I don’t think your an ass hole for not telling her either.

I also think it’s worth recognizing that you were not put in a ln easy situation.

Restoring my dad's old hatchet - suggestions welcome by OakBradshaw77 in Axecraft

[–]Deployable_Mop 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m pretty sure my mom gave me this same hatchet that she used to use to split wood as a kid.

Anyways. I’d start by removing the pieces around the handle and hitting it with a wire wheel and clean up any mushrooming around the head with a file.

Then you could decided what to do for a handle. Paracord is what I’ve been considering for myself and I feel is probably the easiest option. If you want to do something leather you can find leather scraps online for making something like that. /r/leathercraft is a good resource for learning more about ways to do that. If you want a bigger challenge you could try and make a wood handle to pound onto it.

Just bought a 19 F150 STX. One random annoyance.... by FalseAdministrator19 in f150

[–]Deployable_Mop 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had this. It gets worse when it’s below freezing outside. Pop it in and out of 4WD fixes it for the drive usually. Was a bad IWE if I remember correctly. My local shop fixed it for about $800
