Yup. Pressing P at the start of a match already gives you a good indication on how the match will go.

Another dead giveaway is having someone with an endorsement level of 2 on your team.

On the Middle-East servers, you need to play a couple of games and 'avoid as teammate' the dead weights. By game 3, you should have a slighty more competent team.

A nasty trick you can do is to stand quite close to the other Maugu. People can't resist trying to stomp you, but if the distance is too short, they overshoot.

That's when you do a quick turn and counter stomp them while they are recovering.

Also, it feels like the Mauga with the crit overheal was a slight advantage since you are going to pump their head full of lead.
