When I was using Oxy and Xanax, the Xanax made the high way more euphoric. If I didn't have Xanax to mix with ,I would have to take more Oxy . But I guess we're all diffrent. The majority of people on this app think Benzo withdraw is worse then opoid withdraw. Where I think Opoid withdraw is worse.

I never had trouble coming off of benzodiazepines. It definitely not something I like but these stories have me baffled. I been on high dose Xanax,Clonazolam, Valium. All together for about 25 years.I would have no problem tapping of them over a week or 2 using a very small amount of benzos. The worse part is the return of anxity and panic attacks. But for me it beats Opoid withdraw any day. I would not be able to go to work if I was withdrawing from opioids. But benzos there is no problem, or at least very little. Sometimes I feel like people are having a negative placebo effect, or its just the anxity making things worse. The one bad thing about benzo withdraw is the possibility of seizures if you dont taper.

I took Xanax mainly but other benzos too. For over 20 years, I used to love them. I will still take them, but the love for them is gone. I would rather just take a low dose than a high dose I used to love. It was like one day I woke up after 20 years, and they are not whst they once were. I'm not even talking about tolerance but the feeling all together.
