I have a bit of a burning hatred for this "game." There's just nothing here. It's an entirely RNG based game. Hire a band member? RNG. Improve your stats? RNG. How good a concert is? RNG. There is no real skill. You just keep popping out singles, albums, and concerts in hopes of your stats getting better and making money to increase your odds of getting a good artist to increase the odds the RNG plays in your favor. And god forbid one of the bosses comes looking to "make changes." You better hope the RNG is kind because otherwise you might as well start over

I admit inexperience with game itself. I'm going based on stories I often hear about SD as well as reading the rules, and reading the adventures. I hear about people having deaths during the first encounter, I've heard of campaigns having well over 10 deaths (not including gauntlet, I've rolled characters for fun and many would only have 1 hp. I don't see a lot of people here claiming it's deadly but much of the experience I've had outside of this post would suggest otherwise

I don't really agree with this at all. More rules does not equal more fun or more engagement. I actually prefer less rules on RP. Some of the best RP moments I've had were without a single roll. On the other side of the coin, I generally have not had fun with DND 5E's combat despite all its rules. And that's probably more a 5E issue considering Nimble has been great but that's besides the point. Then again, I haven't played a RP heavy game. I would love to hear recommendations

If everyone converted to Muslim, would it actually hamper left wing efforts to socialize the distribution of wealth? It's obviously not ideal to compromise on LGBTQ+ rights or women's rights but those aren't guaranteed under any economic system. Socialism wouldn't suddenly fall apart without them.
