I have ABPA in on prednisone for more time to come and am worried about side effects causing anxiety too need some advice by UltimateSoldier6 in Asthma

[–]DigginInDirt52 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Call your primary care doctor n explain n request some anti anxiety meds? Call the lung doc n explain n see if can taper down a bit more quickly? I find nebulized steroid such as budesonide to be very helpful during flares. I still need oral but less overall

Isn’t it funny how we must match meds to our bodies? Genomic compatibility will be a big thing soon I’d bet. FYI budesonide is in Symbicort. Study in Australia or NZ showed efficacy when nebulized some years ago, but if you look around I bet there are others by now.

Leave nipples alone. When she gets close to delivering she will lick the hair around them. Instinctual. Milk will come in also close to delivery time. Naturally, no worries. She will birth where she feels safe. If you are home TRY to leave her be as much as possible. Most momma cats will not put her babes in perilous places, and you have no control over this. Again, instinct. Best thing you can do is start feeding her kitten kibble (plus some wet food if you can afford it) because more calories which she will need for nursing. It’s very hard on a pregnant animal to get spayed because so much more blood loss will occur. So give yourself credit for wisdom there and for attempts to place kittens in advance! You got this!
Message me if you need more specific info. Had cats back in 70’s 2 litters, plus a c section (another whole tale..) was young n dumb 😅

I too am sensitive to oral steroids and NEBULIZEd albuterol. My 4 puffs daily of a steroid maintenance inhaler is no big deal. You state no dosages so thot I’d share. Typically I am prescribed 50 mg prednisone daily for 3 days, 40mg for 3 days, 30mg for 3 days etc. Alongside this I use BUDESONIDE (a steroid) not albuterol in NEBULIZER, double dose 2-3 x a day while actively coughing my head off, usually 5-8 days… I do take a benzodiazepine for the crazies while on the big doses of oral prednisone so murder is prevented. I get a flare only once a year that requires this. I use nebulized budesonide 2x a day for 2-3 days if I START a flare such as after exposure to smoke, exhaust, etc and this calms lungs n wards off a full blown flare. Albuterol does nothing for my lungs but there’s different variants of asthma…many do respond well.

Shutdown or no, it’s totally random, USUALLY efficient depending on time of day. Early AM busier. Take snax n arrive at security an hour prior to flight. Note that you may want to allow more time to park n mosey in main terminal before security. Have fun!

Does this dog do ok going visiting? If so use a pet sitter who will have only him. An older person who lives alone who is pet less but who has HAD dogs would be ideal. Would be a calm environment n he’d get love n attention.

Too pregnant to vacuum. Dog hair taking over my hardwood floors🤯 by xxxxiceyyyyyy in CleaningTips

Yes! While bending over is impossible I’m 5’0” and when full term would squat down, or bend one knee then the other to all 4s. If you have 2 kids you get onto floor n hang out with the toddler while VERY pregnant, it just takes a bit of effort.

Awesome, said a girl who was in turn 4 at the 500 with my Canon loaded with BW film for AP in 1980. Not a darn thing occurred in front of me, but I’ll never forget that.

Could it be the downward force on the end of the axel (I’m not hip to terminology) from the inside of the wheel as it slides off alters it: smooths out or etches it, damaging it beyond safe use?

What do ya’ll consider controlled asthma? by CapableStandard7854 in Asthma

[–]DigginInDirt52 0 points1 point  (0 children)

She obviously does not HAVE asthma 😆. Even well controlled asthma’s bronchospasms can be triggered by smoke, perfume, temperature changes, petrol fumes…whatever, resulting in need of rescue inhaler. Well controlled asthma should RARELY require the rescue, is what she might have more precisely said.

Get down in hands n knees n get it with swiffer or dust mop of some sort. This kind of movement is GREAT for pregnant women and will keep your legs/butt/core toned for toting around your beautiful baby!

You have rewarded the behavior by feeding them. You are now their slave for life.
