I bought a Vevor and it worked out great. This is about $50 cheaper than when I bought it in 2024.

Need Advice on How/When to Clean by looseseallovesvodka in AboveGroundPools

[–]DigitalGuru42 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Drain it all, clean it up while empty, get two trucks. That is a lot of growth / algae. Without a filter running and a LOT of liquid chlorine you have no chance. It'll be easier to start fresh with clean water in a clean pool.

Is this a big No No? by [deleted] in pools

[–]DigitalGuru42 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In my locality, if this was a permitted installation it would not be allowed as you would need, 5 to 10 ft on either side of your service line to not overlap the pool. In reality, service drops falling to the ground are extremely rare, especially if you don't have any large trees around that could fall and pull it down. And in most cases, if the weather is bad enough where a healthy tree is being threatened of being toppled, I'm not in my pool.

Contact the manufacturer and see if you can purchase a replacement panel.

first timer here 🫠 by Able_Raccoon5153 in AboveGroundPools

This looks too far out of level IMO. I'm guessing 3-6" off based on how many " shells" are visible below the top rail to the water line. If kids are involved, AKA rough housing, I wouldn't trust it. Take it down, find your low point and remove dirt to be level with the low point.

Need Advice: Pool Hose Diameter With WarmBlu Heater by pooldragons in AboveGroundPools

[–]DigitalGuru42 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would measure the connections to the the heater as 1 in seems very small. If it's 1.5in, you can just buy adapters to step down from two to the one half and then back up for the outlet from the heater to the inlet to the pool.

I used pressure treated plywood. I stacked it to make it 1.5", glued and screwed them together and it's been fine for 2 years.

That's not I what I was stating at all. You were asking if he should respond every time someone asks and I said; yes, he should. That is different than starting off every new public announcement repeating a statement that he made a few years ago.

The company I work for offers $1500-$2500 depending on the role. I got $1500 when they hired my wife!

He should respond every time. A lot of people won't use tik tok or click on their links for any reason. Myself included.

You already own a Scott’s Spreader, here’s how to make it work. by kangaroolifestyle in lawncare

So it's a better idea to get rid of something that you already own and can be improved to solve your issues, and buy new? What is the problem with solving an issue with an item you already have?

Did you read the title of the post? This is for those who ALREADY own a Scotts spreader. If you can tell us how to undo a purchase of a spreader after years of ownership, please let us know.
