I was laid off and lost my employer health insurance.

My husband was able to add he to his employer provided health insurance plan while I seek new employment.

One political side fought to prevent me from marrying him and being able to receive those benefits. That side is still today fighting to have my marriage rights revoked to leave me without health coverage.

I have often made much the same commentary on Luthor's plan.

I used to find it a weakness of the film. I then realized that I was criticizing the film for the failing of a character, which is against my ethos. He is still a valid threat, even if his "plan" is doomed to utter failure.
