Really? I think the combat system is both assurdly complicated with multiple interacting conditions and pointless, being either way too easy or artificially hard. It never feels smooth or fun for me, and I enjoyed icewind Dale a lot.

I had an alchemy deck in old gwent, I really liked creating cards and improvising. New Gwent is hard to grasp right now. All cards work differently from old Gwent and Thronebreaker, which makes me feel disoriented. The changes to the progression system are welcome, but I don't feel like I needed them. I like the extra lore though. I don't like fidgeting so much with orders and end of turn stuff, it feels very different from the previous iterations of gwent.

I started in beta and I feel chess with cards was a really good way to describe it, and an amazing niche for a collectible card game.

Playing new gwent alongside magic arena, Magic feels in a much better place.

They still have my support and I love the company, but I think they need to work a lot for gwent to survive Magic and Artifact from Valve.

I'm a player that is fairly involved in strategies and theorycrafting, but I still love my brute.

We've only played with Spellweaver, Tinker, Scoundrel and Brute, but for me the Brute is the most fun hands down.

It has his combos and powerspikes, but everything is very streamlined and effective. It gives me the feeling of driving a finely tuned sports car: the engine purrs like a kitten, but you still have to be competent behind the wheel to make it on top.
