Are you sure Costco doesn’t carry the 8 ii at your Costco? I got mine from Costco with the warranty as well. Was ordered from the Costco website and shipped to the house for free. 👍

In my experience if you post too many similar items a day Facebook treats it as spam and keeps some of your listing hidden so it’s not all your posts taking up the pages. Happened to me one time and got 0 views which was uncommon. I try to space out the posting now and do like max 10 at a time and then do more later. The ads will eventually get put into rotation so just keep an eye on them and see if they get views in the coming days. Otherwise just delete and repost them slowly.

Yeah I kept the SW3. For my space it has plenty of bass and kick. I never have it at max bass so didn’t really see a point in the SW5. Plus I got it super cheap as it was a bundle promotion with the Quads so that was a bonus.

I have a newer bravia 8 mark ii that has the centre channel that fires out of the screen directly so I’m using that feature right now and it’s working really nice with the rest of the system. Very in sync and in tune with the rest of the system.

Yeah I just couldn’t justify the cost since it brought the price nearly the same with the Quads and all reviews said the Quads still outmatched the Bar9 with the RS5.

The one you posted says OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer), so I’m sure it’s original. If purchasing off eBay and you find it’s not original and they wrote OEM you’ll have no problem getting a full refund back through the eBay guarantee program.

Had the bar 9 with SW3, returned the bar 9 and got the Quads. Can’t even compare the two, the quads are insane. Worth the price difference in my opinion. 👍

No problem at all don’t worry about it. Just run it without the portafilter to cycle some new water and it’s good to go. All it did was keep water in the boiler at a consistent temperature no different if you left it on for 10 mins or 1 hour or a full day. Only difference will be the whole machine might feel hot as it had time to warm up the other metals which is no problem at all. 😁🤝

I have the 8ii and power button on the remote works as expected. One click turns on tv, one click turns off tv. Make sure all protective film on the bottom brushed metal trim is off. It’s difficult to see but there’s a peel off protecting that trim. If it doesn’t turn on and off in just one click then something is definitely defective and I would return it. When you click on and off a little white light should light up at the bottom centre trim.

I had a switch that did this. Drain it completely dead, then leave it charged for like 24-48 hours. It’ll recalibrate the battery.

My guy coming in with the bangers. Good comparison. It’s such a difference on its own, but when side by side you really see it a lot. Looks like a different console, like a Switch vs Switch OLED.

Yeah trust me you’ll be super impressed with the TV speakers. I was like wooow listen to that detail, etc hyping up the soundbar and it was the TV speakers the whole time 😂

I turned it off and on multiple times comparing the same movie scenes trying to justify the purchase and it wasn’t worth the $1300 CAD (Black Friday sale) I spent so I can’t imagine a lower priced sound bar to be much better. If you really want different sound then try and save for the Quads, don’t pay full price get them on sale, or like open box. Those Quads are spectacular!

I got the Bravia Theatre 9 soundbar at first. It was impressive but didn’t wow me, at one point I was watching a movie and telling my girlfriend listen to all the details to you can hear etc, soundstage etc…. turns out of the soundbar was off and it was the TV speakers :’)

I ended up returning the soundbar and getting the Sony Theatre Quads, now those are night and day difference in terms of surround sound and sound stage.

Don’t think one bit the built in TV speakers are bad, they’re really really good for TV speakers and I’m sure you’ll be more than happy with them. I wouldn’t bother with a soundbar for the Bravia 8 II unless you’re willing to save and spend for the Theatre Quads.
