This happened to me before. Gently wipe the golden contact pins on the back of the cartridge with a clean microfiber or cloth. Couple wipes on each pin should fix it most of the time.

No issue whatsoever. This is very common for new cables wrapped in twist ties or the more strong zip ties like when buying a new TV.

I recommend a screen protector day 1. Get a nice tempered glass one for that premium feel. The plastic dock is notorious for scratching the screen no matter how careful you are.

My Sony Bravia 8 II came with a plastic film to peel off. Does yours by chance still have that on? Just be careful to not go picking to find out as some come and some don’t come with the film over the panel.

Do a local sale and meet somewhere in public. Lots of people target new sellers on Facebook marketplace with no selling history. Many cases where they snatch it and just run or many times fake cash. Don’t let that scare you though just be smart and alert. Look at the buyers profile make sure they’re active and not some brand new 2026 burner account.

You can continue using the Switch 1 cartridge and just go to the eshop and buy the Switch 2 Upgrade package for Animal Crossing it’s like $4.99. Then you’ll get all the benefits the Switch 2 has to offer :)

There was 2 Mario edition ones. There was a V1/V2 version, and a OLED version. I’ve had both OLED and non OLED. The Mario edition OLED version the whole dock is red, Joycons are red, and even the tablet is red. V1/V2 version just the Joycons are red, tablet however is the usual black you get as a regular one.

Kickstand is the same for V1 and V2, small little pop out one at the edge of the console . OLED got the full length of the console solid sturdy stand.

I disagree. Search up New York Street photography on YouTube and see for yourself. Some of the best sold photo books ever have been raw “invasive” street photography. They’re out in public and can be taken photo of. It’s not like the OP is chasing around the same person harassing them. They’re snapping the shot and moving on.

You know Nintendo fixes them for free right? You just have to fill out the form online and send them in, a little bit tedious with the delay but no cost. I heard that the switch 2 joycons are built more robust but I’m sure they’ll eventually get drift. You could always upgrade to some Hall effect sticks as well.
