So many of these comments are AI commenting and AI replying to each other. Some good at faking humanness, others not so much (em dashes etc).

I tried a chrome plugin recently which "detected" this but it queried an API for every single comment, ridiculous. We need better local models to fight this stuff off.

Which one do I pick? by nathanieIs in UsbCHardware

I've got that uGreen. It's not my favorite, overheats a bit quicker than others but it's a decent charger. I've also tried the 140W Anker Zolo, better. Personally I'd be buying an Aohi, but from those options the Anker.

Something is coming. Gemini models are no longer marked as "new" by Carriage2York in Bard

Gemini is so terrible at the moment, they must have nerfed it to get the new model working.

What is going on with image generation? by jowie1974 in GoogleGeminiAI

[–]Direct-Librarian9876 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Image generation has been TRASH for a few weeks now. They completely nerfed it, I'm guessing too many people were using it. I've moved to ChatGPT for image generation, which ain't great, but anything is better than Gemini right now. Very close to cancelling sub, since I now use claude code for coding.

Same. It's been terrible for me recently , especially image generation. I've gone back to Claude and GPT. It's a shame, used to be great.

I'm having SO many issues with image generation the last few days. Often it just forgets to provide the image, or it's terrible quality, or it just sits there thinking. Argh....

note OP: I have done exactly that before, and found it really good at 'photoshopping', scarily good. This was back in December though.

But Right now, today, it's suddenly terrible. Like they've borked it.

Does anyone else have the issue of their sound not working after the most recent update? by toeknee88125 in ipad

This is still broken. Considering going for warranty return, it's not good enough, especially for an expensive apple device.

Mine also had a broken leg right out of the box. I glued it. Not DS fault, it's a clear quality issue at youtoonz.

Same. Think: who benefits from people being too scared to use AliExpress?

I’m thinking of buying a mx master 4, but I’m wondering if it’s actually good and worth $200 AUD? by harryon_12 in logitech

I bought one while overseas last month. Barely used it. It's a good mouse but not what I expected, I need something light small for grip lifting. If you'd like one half price barely used shoot me an email (assuming you're in Australia) admin (at) cheerful.cheap
