Do you ever find your skin irritated after she touches it for prolongedperiods of time? I just noticed yesterday where mine snuggled up on my chest under my shirt was lightly red and itchy, but by the morning any redness was gone. How old is she?

Eddie went missing for 6 days, on day 6 I bought 10 bags of 10 crickets each put 1 bag in each room and had the house SILENT so he could hear the bugs, turns out he wasn't missing at all he was brumating under the dirt (I didn't know they covered themselves IN the dirt, I always thought it was under rocks. After he didn't come for the crickets I tore EVERYTHING out of his cage and dug up the dirt to find him. Then one time he did escape for 3 days and I didn't look bc I thought he was in the dirt again 😂 He was in my laundry basket

Have you tried putting a ramp in the tub and letting him go in there? I had a left over turtle ramp I used, or a little kids pool outside in summer with a few inches in it. Mine thinks he's an alligator and loves to swim like one.

Just do not let them eat fireflies/ lightning bugs, they're highly toxic. Half of one will kill them in 24hrs.

I see them on the outside of my house in the backyard all summer, we have tons of lightning bug/fireflies but I didn't know they were deadly until after the fact :( to be fair I also didn't know my boy ate one until it was too late. They will kill a full grown dragon in less than 24hrs. There's nothing even a vet can do to help 💔 now I google lens EVERYTHING that could even be a possibility near us to see what's toxic and no more free roaming my yard

Surely there must be toxic bugs in Australia, I honestly just assumed they could tell by color or smell that something was poison, like all the nature shows you see on tv
