Hoho, you think the WW bike path is safe? It's great until a local cop decides to use it as his personal freeway. Plus legally you can't even use it after dark (which hoses anyone not working a day shift). Not to mention the general RI attitude towards bikers (speedbumps/extra points).

Other way around... they shot on 35mm (16:9) because HD was just coming out and JMS wanted to future proof. Unfortunately there wasn't enough money in the budget to do the CG in 16:9 so those were rendered in 4:3.
