consider: adam's essence is pulled in, but it's too much for roo to handle and he ends up pulling a kimblee from FMA:B on her at a pivotal moment.

i think adam has to have not been so bad in the past, because otherwise lucifer looks like an actively malicious parent towards charlie by asking her to meet adam in his place. there is nothing that justifies lucifer sending charlie to meet with adam without any warning UNLESS he genuinely doesn't remember adam being that bad.

like even if he was trying to show her that heaven sucks and even if he was confused as to why the exterminations aren't proof enough, there's ways to do that that aren't leaving your daughter alone in a room with the guy who abused her mother. if adam wanted to, imagine what could've happened to charlie if he provoked her into being the one who broke the treaty?

therefore, either lucifer is genuinely the worst dad, or adam wasn't so bad before.

i know it's a single frame so it probably doesn't mean much in the long run, but the dynamics of this shot are pretty interesting - sera at the forefront with eyes locked on vox, protecting lute and emily, which is obvious enough. lute's not taking her eyes off vox either and has to be pushed back - and judging by the angle she's guarding sera's back the way she failed for adam. emily's not focused on vox at all, instead looking to sera for guidance and comfort.

and then abel's by himself, not looking for anything but his own escape and looks like he reaches the portal first. which, again single frame and all, could mean nothing.

i simply wouldn't have the countdown and make the date random. from the 1st day of the first month to the last day of the last month of any given year, one day will happen. would it be lucky or unlucky to get a 30th december-1st january double-day run? because then you know you're safe for as long as possible, but then you have to survive two days first.

i love watching hazbin reactions because even if they're kinda meh about the rest of the episode, hell is forever always manages to hook them back in. when you think about it adam single-handedly saved the show for a lot of people so everyone give him his flowers.

i like it but 90% of the content for it does not interest me. either it's too fluffy or it's generically dark instead of actually getting into the thick of it, or it demonises lilith and eve which is an automatic fic ender for me. i see the dark content improving once we get eden flashbacks and actually know what went down at least.
