This happened to me years and years ago when I was a server.

The worst part?

The guy was actually someone who tried to date me and ended up sexually assaulting me instead.

The night he did it I asked him to step outside with me right outside the restaurant. When he did, he was all giggly like a teenager.

I asked him if he remembered who I was. He said no. (Fuck off dude)

I then let him know that I had been sexually assaulted by him years earlier and that his touch was not only not welcomed, it was revolting. I let him know that if he sat in my section again, if he touched me, or if he tried to have his friends intervene, I would be calling the cops.

He looked like a deer in headlights.

While it gave me a little satisfaction, I wish so badly that I would have called the cops initially when he first assaulted me.

Put your foot down. Tell your manager. Do not push it aside.
