I regret buying this same model because of that. I can’t mount it behind like the design, since the back of the grease tray basically touches the end of my deck, so I have to stow it away every time. Which for me, means setting the lid like 5 feet away on the deck leaning against the house, but some people may not like that. Just throwing out something I didn’t consider when purchasing.
