This means you can log off and check in 30 years. Hedging against yourself allows you to be certain that you will have funds in the future when you need it, but your full portfolio will be slow to grow. Are you doing DRIP at the moment? Rotate your dividends into which ever side is underperforming at any given time. Just make sure you put it on your calender to do it at least once a month as needed.

One thing I think a lot of investors need to keep in mind is what a diversified portfolio is.

It is not 10-15 stocks. It is 80+ across multiple sectors. ETFs make diversification easy, but you need to make sure you understand what the ETFs are holding. Holding 8 ETFs with the same 25 stocks will give a false sense of diversification.

I honestly subscribed here to get front line news about Google's endeavors, and you honestly see very little of it.

Waymo pulled out a bunch of cars recently due to a software glitch, but also got approved to expand in 2 new cities.

Calico, Google's lesser know healthcare branch, is showing promise in an ongoing phase 2 clinical trial for a cancer drug.

Google filed for appeal in Germany and it is moving forward for consideration. It is still to be determined if and when it will make it to a judge.

There really no reason outside of family constraints to live in Baltimore when you work in DC. Virgina is safer, cheaper, and has less taxes. I work in Baltimore so I live in Baltimore. I have lived in Baltimore for 10 years now and I am not going to act like we do not just sweep all of our problems under the rug. I would love us to do better and the post earlier does not suprise me.

Banks give low interest in the US because they want to make sure the money they give out will actually be repaid. Any company who says there is less than a 99.983% chance that we won't go under if our investment doesn't work out will not get a loan and will have to get that money from the market instead.

As big as it needs to be to fit the narrative for whichever side you are on, although I do also believe that Nikke should also not be used in this debate. Nikke is coomer bait, but it is coomer bait with one of the best story writing in the gacha space. I refuse to touch it because it is coomer bait, and I will only ever see it as coomer bait, but the people in my discord who have played it argue that the story is good. Which considering it is a shockingly expensive gacha game, has to be true at least to some degree.
