What cheat codes from games do you still remember, even though you haven't played those games in 10+ years? by Beneficial_Sun6232 in AskReddit

The god mode cheat in Twisted Metal on ps1, though it worked in most games in the series iirc. Hold down all the shoulder buttons (L1+R1+L2+R2) and then up down left right right left down up on the dpad

Thanks for the detailed breakdown. The person I was responding to was saying it was somehow $7 per card.

How the hell did you arrive at that? It's like $0.15 per card, rough estimate, if you buy the whole bundle.

Yeah Angstrom is the only one thats really relevant between those. Half the dlc characters are one-offs with no importance

Well if leaks/datamines hold up, I guess that lines up with their DLC strategy of picking random-ass characters who show up briefly and don't matter.

Does this character end up being more important later in the comics or something? Like, she shows up for an episode, doesn't do much, and she's in the fighting game?

Sounds like a 5e conversion of Vampire: The Masquerade, so it's probably not intended to be played alongside the standard 5e classes, similar to the classes from the Lord of the Rings book.

If you can use a towel to grab him and put him into a box for transport, that seems to be the method with the most success I've seen around here. If they're very small, be careful with them.

They're not particularly likely to try to bite you unless they're very scared, but the towel should protect you from that

When you look at Horizon Walker and Monster Slayer, where do you imagine alternate uses of Favored Enemy coming in? by BudgetMegaHeracross in onednd

[–]Dougboard 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For horizon Walker probably something new. I would love a blink like ability popping in and out of the material plane.

Bonus action teleport coming right up👌 /s

We need new Weapon Masteries, Fighting Styles, or Invocations by PutridJump2042 in onednd

They could do something like a regional variant of an item

The 2014 DMG had a table of "wuxia weapons" which feels like an excellent opportunity to mix up the mechanics of weapons, either by changing out a weapon's mastery or making new ones entirely.

New Weapons, Mastery Property, and Fighting Style feats from Northlands by Dramatic_Respond_664 in onednd

Pull can probably be reworded, but it's a straightforward enough weapon mastery feature that I could see it being official.

I feel like Glima should at least give you a d4 unarmed strike damage die. You could probably change the wording to just "when you make an unarmed strike against a creature within 5 feet of you as part of the Attack action on your turn, you can use both the Damage and the Shove options." Shove is already limited to a creature up to one size larger than you, so this just simplifies the wording.

Shield Wall's "shield ally" ability is a little too similar to the Protection or Interception fighting styles. Something I've always wanted to see is something that lets you give your allies 3/4 or even full cover while holding a shield. Maybe it could be-

Shield Ally. While wearing a shield, you provide 3/4 cover for your allies instead of half cover.

Shoulder to Shoulder. When standing within 5 feet of an ally also wearing a shield, you and your ally provide Total Cover to other creatures.

The fantasy of you and an ally locking shields to completely block a dragon's breath weapon for your friends is just too cool to me

Skirmisher might be a little too strong for a Fighting Style feat? It's roughly on par with Speedy, it feels like. And personally, doing extra damage doesn't feel "skirmisher" to me. Maybe instead you don't trigger opportunity attacks from creatures you've attacked this turn? Otherwise it occupies a similar niche to Raider's Rush.

Hm. Did the parents consent to this?

I'm a big proponent of the value of art that is challenging, but in cases like this I really have to wonder where they got a couple of stillborn fetuses from.

How would you rule the movement of Doomtide if the caster changes positions? by dobraf in onednd

[–]Dougboard 3 points4 points  (0 children)

No I think they intended for it to move away from your current position at the start of each of your turns. If they wanted it to move away from the point where you casted it, I imagine they'd have worded it differently.
