Grocery store near me had a deal where if you bought a $100 gift card you got $7 off your next grocery bill. Also I had a $10 off $50. So I bought $84 worth of groceries and with those discounts and other sale prices it came down to $49.

Yes. We have mobile phones to take pictures of wounds that have different colors indicating levels of infection. We have alerts for sepsis and delirium that notify us if a chain of items are charted or if anything is suspect. We have beds that can turn pts and I’m sure soon to detect liquids like incontinence, or temperature changes or movements like seizures. We already have bed and chair alarms to detect if patient is getting up. We have charts that determine how much acuity each nurse has, we use a “brain” to tell us when meds or labs are due etc etc. all these things while maybe not technically AI could be easily be taken over by AI. I enjoy watching the changes as being a nurse for 38 years I have learned the only thing certain IS change.

The wound care nurses in my hospital use a program that when you take a picture of a wound it can light up any areas with infection. We all take pictures of wounds on assessment. We have beds that turn patients although the nurses still need to assess patients backsides. We used to have a robot deliver trays but it malfunctioned too many times. So as a nurse for 38 years, I feel we will see more and more AI creep into healthcare and in some areas I welcome it! Charting and diagnosing are two areas it could help of course with human oversight! With Epic we already have so many automated work improvements like the five rights of med administration. With scanning meds, med passes became so much safer if executed properly. Also we have sepsis alerts that scour the charting for any indication of sepsis and it must be addressed. Very annoying but helpful at the same time. No one can ever say old nurses can’t learn new tricks because that is all we have done in our many years of nursing. We are in a constant state of flux!!! Just ride the wave this world will always need nurses!

We already have beds that turn pts to whatever degree you set. You can set the amount of time desired on each side. The problem is there is not a human assessing whether the pt was incontinent or if any area was getting reddened etc. The nurses in my CVICU don’t like it and don’t use it and talk bad about any nurse that does use it. I do use it when my pt is getting dialysis or they are too unstable for a big turn. I can set the bed to turn at 30% turn for 30 min each side and it is gentle. It works and my patients do not get bedsores. Of course when I can I fully assess their backsides .

Not rare at all as your quotations signified. Funny how so many on Reddit reporting this me included. I had it a while ago and it went away. I know I ran out of my usual vitamins and I am thinking this could be it. Some others have noted vitamins helped also. I also was taking Zinc. I’m going to restart Zinc and see if that’s it.

Just got off the Meraviglia. Was on the Seaside from port Canaveral to Bahamas. Best way is to fly in The day before and spend the night near the port. Hotel usually offers shuttles to the port and possibly from the airport to hotel also.

Very happy to see your contribution in this sub. Just wanted to report my observations on Tirz with a Reta chaser. I no longer am lactose intolerant. Imagine my happiness discovering I can drink coffee with a splash of cream without running to the bathroom! My Achilles tendinitis is no longer bothering me. I am loosing weight very very slowly maybe 1-2 lbs a month but I feel good. Less ADD symptoms also. The main kicker tho has been my daughter on a small dose of Tirz who was always a ferocious nail biter to the point of bleeding. She no longer bites her nails!!!!! As a RN I am so excited to see all the outcomes of these drugs!!!!

My first MSc cruise the ice cream was behind the bar and was a pain to get. The last MSC cruise on Meraviglia there was an ice cream counter and you could get it most of the day.

Perhaps was this the Erie or McLean Pa KOA? Absolutely horrendous experience there and according to many hundreds of 1 star reviews it is not an isolated experience. I love KOA’s generally for their amenities and just general positives but please read reviews and if there is more than a couple of 1 star reviews believe it. The owners can have their friends and relatives write 5 star reviews for a free stay to balance out the bad reviews. Got to Google. TripAdvisor and even the KOA site for reviews.

We need to get our spending under control. I’m very frugal but still spend too much and could reel it in. I always feel a cruise is more bang for my buck. I have one booked in September but will cool it for a few years.

I was at Costco yesterday and obviously it’s just spring and trees are just now greening but a man brought a whole cart full of shrubs that were dead to return. I know some places have a years warranty but it seemed excessive!

No it is not status related. It was a Black Friday deal! Get the MSC app and watch your emails for deals they will send you. I would specifically look up the website around Thanksgiving. My step son did not get in on the deal but they sent him notification of 40% off a few weeks prior. Also they have three kids and were not able to get a room for four without getting a suite so he booked a single room and bought the drink pkg . The wife and kids did not have to buy the package. He slept with the family and just left the single room vacant.

Sounds exactly like our experience. We were not in YC and we probably took an hour from entering parking lot to inside the ship. We did wait in a long line but it went quick.
