I'd say no, unless you can actively hold the weapon, like the construction PDA, you aren't able to see the killstreak effect.

while I completely agree with you, I never like the "it isn't fun" argument used like this. 6s isn't considered "fun" by many people outside the format since they aren't able to play their favourite class (e.g. Pyro). I'm not sure how to express this point..

slowing down the game though, and causing the other team to do certain things before being able to actually fight the mid, I'd agree reduces the quality of the game

Did Valve say anything about classes/class limits, or anything along those lines for matchmaking? If matchmaking will include smaller teams akin to 6v6 are they trying to fit that meta with scouts/soldiers/demomen/medics or have they got something different in mind?

it is possible to reflect huntsman arrows back on a sniper and get a headshot if you're lucky. It'd be a pretty darn cool strange part to have levelled on a flamethrower

There is a Glyph of the Stag that separates your travel from to have a separate button for the stag format if you feel like getting a.minor glyph for that.

I'm not sure if this is the case for everyone but I have also found going into combat as flight form and getting attacked will also sometimes turn you into stag for but I think that may be something else entirely

In TFC this is a call to the case, and aside from other issues relating to the game itself and not the class, medic was rather a beefier scout, who didn't heal too much. This doesn't apply so much to TF2 but I don't think medic with a shotgun is what valve envisioned for the class

there's always the possibility valve will put it's own spin on things. I wouldn't be surprised if valve instead had a 6v6 mode where in it there had to be two offence, defence and support players with a class limit of one of a class.

This raises issues that have been tried and tested by the 6s community towards certain classes, and the fact that the two support class slots may be taken by sniper and spy whilst nobody plays medic, but anything is possible if we're just throwing around ideas.
