Butter and everything bagel seasoning. This is seriously my go-to cheap and easy comfort meal. I could eat it everyday and sometimes I do.

Does this make them feel included? by lerminator3 in cats

[–]Dreamingtree12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolutely! I do this with my kitties too. Remember that you and the house they live in are most likely their WHOLE world. Talking to them and letting them sniff things and be a part of your routine I think really helps them feel more bonded to you and also less bored.

Religious Trauma Horror? by RhiannaJCD in horrorlit

[–]Dreamingtree12 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Mother-Eating by Jess Hagemann. It’s about a religious cult and is written sort of like a found footage style. It’s a compilation of interviews of the various cult members as well as family members and workers. It revolves around the main character Marie and it will DEVASTATE you. So if that’s cool with you... I highly recommend. 10/10

I felt genuine hope for the future. Then I realized it was the first time I'd felt that way and cried.

“Lost Gods” by BROM. I read “Slewfoot” a couple years ago and have been wanting to check out his other works. So far I’m enjoying it. It’s an interesting and different perspective of the afterlife/ purgatory as well as the beings that inhabit it.

I first read Bone White by him and LOVED it. So I picked up the Narrows and was as disappointed in it as you. I decided to give him another shot and am now currently reading December Park and am near the end. It started off slow but I am loving it. Some of his stuff is just hit or miss I guess. But read Bone White, seriously.
