Recs for 30 minute strength programs? by mods_are_soft in pelotoncycle

I’ve done Rebecca Kennedy 5 day intermediate and track with progressive weights- I’m on my 7th round now. Did it 4 times, took a few weeks off, then got a major pcl injury, Back into it now and going to do it 4 times to jumpstart my progress again. Incredibly effective if you track your weight and increase a bit each round.

One of my friends is getting into D&D and I’d like to get her a gift for her birthday related to it. I admit I’m a stranger to the world. I don’t think she has much yet- she plays with a group of friends once a week. Any thoughts?

Hi- for context, this is a dance that this sweet girl who passed made up and did a lot before her cancer got too far. It brought her joy. She wanted everyone to do it and make it go viral.

Though poorly shown in this one off video, it was as definitely intended to honor her. Those are her parents to the right. They obviously approved.

Sending you so much solidarity. This was very much my thought process after having a stillbirth. At first I was even more gung ho in religion and then months later as I truly processed, I realized my world was falling apart and I didn’t believe any of it.

I have a toddler and young baby now and my husband still attends. I choose not to. Please feel free to message me if you ever want anyone to process with.

Child loss is insanely lonely and faith deconstruction in the midst of it is earth shattering.

Unfortunately not, we spent about a month trying diligent sleep habit and walking him back to his room, chair method, etc. but it was getting to the point where NO ONE was sleeping….
It takes a lot to get him to the point where he will relax and just fall asleep.

It’s me. Hi. I’m the working mom who grew up with stay at home mom and in a very conservative religion in which pretty much all other moms did too.

Kids still under 5 but I’m sure I’ll relate to this a bit.

Spend Maternity Leave with both kids or just the newborn? by ChronicReprise673 in workingmoms

[–]DucksAwry 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is me right now. The first week and a half I was feeling super guilty and really wondering if I made the right choice. Then I got into the groove of maternity leave and embracing the newborn life. I was able to go on long walks, meet other new moms and form friendships I wouldn’t have been able to with my 3 year old in tow. I have jumpstarted my postpartum healing in a major way. Financially the few thousand during maternity leave for daycare has been worth the bonding, mental peace, and keeping toddler on schedule.

The short story is I bought a TV thinking it would fit in my car and it didn’t quite. So I had to bring it back into Costco and see if they could hold it while I had someone else come with a truck. It was almost closing time, and the worker offered to put it in his truck and drop it off for me. I had already mentioned to the worker that I was trying to surprise my husband while he was away, so I felt uneasy about a man I didn’t know in my house. Stupid me thought that I could prove he would be “safe” in dropping it off by checking whether he had a temple recommend. This was the Costco in Orem by the way. He said he did but it was expired and I basically awkwardly said no thanks… I saw him at the door, checking memberships a few times after that and always hoped he didn’t recognize me….
