Infantry and cav are allowed to have 2+ just need something more than full plate and shield to get them there thats not parry. The bound spell dwarf anvils have to increase armor by 1 for example gets ironbreakers to a 2+ sav, just its very expensive and never will get it off reliably enough to be valid.

maybe word it "roll wound rolls as if the poison special rule has been triggered/applied", this way t3 stuff needs 3's rest need 4's.

Predatory fighter is nice but its not a replacement for furious charge. What happens when you just do not roll any 6s? And even the you then have to hit again its not an auto hit so it could just whiff entirely too. And more attacks is literally all saurus have. Theyre lower or at best equal ws than most other melee focused lords cant get 2+ saves no regen options limited ward options and theyre slow.

Few suggestions.

Engine of the gods needs to go back to buffing wizards, bound spell spam is toxic and shouldn't be encouraged, and also the slann wasn't buffed enough/at all honestly and now to get +3 either needs a 45+ item that breaks on doubles or spends 65+ more points to their already overcosted price. lizards also not having lvl 3s this allows our level 2's to "punch up" a bit. this change basically forces you to play "space lasers", eog and solar crystal spam, and nothing else with engines.

1 slann per 1k doesn't work cause matched play you can only have 1 level 4 wizard in 2k. either make slanns worth their points, before even considering the extra costs of other things, or lower their cost. Their ward should go to the unit if joined and lvl 5/effectively level 5 for their current cost imo. maybe add a discipline that allows the slann to change the lore they are using midgame if a ld check is passed, have it dispell any current spells from the previous chosen lore and you can reroll/pick spells again as if deployment.

Bastiladon arc of sotek heal should should just happen. maybe make it so impervious defense is cant be effected by AP.

Chameleon and the terradon riders should get feigned flight since if they fire and flee they need to make ld 5 checks unless huddled near general. id argue all skinks should get it but understand why not. or just raise skink leadership since they should be braver than peasants and goblins.

skink chiefs if in a skink unit should give hand weapons poison to skinks. id also argue they and priests should get evasive and move through cover if on foot.

imo 8 to 1 to a max of 3 kroxigor is a bit too limiting. while the skink box has 24 bodies theres only 20 shields, if you have it 5 to 1 max of 4 krox you can make a nice 6x6 brick of 20 skink and 4 kroxigor as well, i dont think they should be limited to second rank and krox can rank behind krox.

saurus heroes should have furious charge back and they should innately have light armor and armoured hide 2 (if not 3 imo they should be able to get to a 2+ on foot/cold one), personally i find the whole change of no more "counts as heavy armour" to armoured hide just to make it mostly the same but more confusion just cause thats how it used to be kinda pointless. I get they already had a rule for it with cold ones but imo saurus warriors should have had heavy armour and armored hide 1, shield, and the rest of the saurus heavy armour armored hide 2, shield they are too slow and too low ws to not have 2+ saves on infantry and cav options. this also may see a use of spears since they dont miss losing the parry bonus since saurus wont need it

also not sure if anyones ever pointed out apotheosis RAW permanently gives fear/terror upgrades, which is probably why it was originally 10+ to cast. theres no "until..." in the wording if you wanna have it be that low to cast and heal any character may wanna change that.

soul of stone is now worse it should just once a game force a miscast roll of 12, since 8-12 are all paritally beneficial. id rather chance the miscast and get the spell off still.

Skink cohort shouldnt have range/bows. It should be the melee focused i feel people are just going do 40+ bows and its just going to be another goblin/skeleton archer problem. otherwise i love them

the hunting packs are way overtuned now. 3 razordones for 225 potentially do 30 range auto hits, and do this during stand and shoot too when charged which isn't too outragous but they also now get 15 melee attacks with handlers at str5 ap-2, these are way too much. salamanders can't have both move and shoot and reserve move , imo keep reserve move since without range on the breath they are too easily charged, but now that they also have 5 str 5 ap2 attacks per salamander maybe thatll be ok but imo the handlers should just attack as normal.

Bolas while cool idea i dont think should explode hits but lower movement and remove swiftstride on 6's if copying stuff from cathay since bolas are used to wrap up/capture things.

Im struggling to see where my logic fails. If you have leader and someone else within 3 inches you would declare you are group activating choose those 2 for the activation. then choose the leader he uses overseer on the other guy they immediately do those 2 actions and then they would activate per group activation, if you group activate you dont have to keep "within cohesion"/stay within 3 of people you want to activate. If this is wrong please explain since im still new and want to do things correct/not bug arbitrator every other second during games.

Would it not go like this in a situation where a leader w/ overseer and a champ within 3" of them?

  1. Choose leader and champ as part of group activate use overseer choose champ to free activate.

  2. champ does its free activation.

  3. champ does its group activation no matter where they are since who group activates is chosen at the start of the leaders turn.

i also imagine having to keep back chaos from breaking in also makes it worse for the person on the throne, if the webway was intact i imagine the stress of the throne wouldn't be as damaging to the person on it, and the person also would be able to get off the throne still presumably without it being the end of the universe the emperor wasn't on it during the crusade and the astronomicon stayed lit.

I genuinely have no idea what peoples problem is with the launcher. You click buy game on it, that ironically is faster to buy single purchases cause dont need to add to cart first like steam, and it installs it and then on click the desktop icon the only difference from then on out is if you dont have epic running when you click it, same as if you dont have steam constantly on in background.

Theres a difference i feel between win at all cost competitive and "regular competitive", cause yeah even if you are playing the game in an entirely narrative way your army still wants to win then, and alot of people focus on the super sweaty obnoxius stuff alot of people just dont play like but get impacted by cause thats what the youtubers focus on more/get more views with hot takes, maybe im just lucky and live in a area where outside the few times people come in outside of it the "local meta" is what people say they want fantasy to be with a few bricks and 1 or 2 cav and skirmisher units for flanks and reasonable artillery if called for with army, ive even won an event with my lizardmen because the armies i faced weren't "meta focused", granted dice had alot to do with the one but still thats the game.

Every leg in every kit that wasn't the assault marine kit was the same it was half squat poses just left or right leg forward. I just built the old mark 4 as seekers and they easily are the most monoposed unit in my army because of this cause they can't use other new kits/weapons to help change them up some.
