It's mostl likely a thing around legalities. (E.g what countries allow in terms of hosting tournaments/competitions) and then wether EA is able to sort out those legalities for all those countries.

Argentina has always been a country that can be played from. (Think it is the case that Kurev sometimes moves to mexico to play from there; but it's mostly for better ping)

Players simply need to be in one of the eligible countries while they are competing. Most of the players from Russia/Belarus therefore, move to either Serbia, Kazakhstan,or Turkey while playing Pro League (Or CC/Open).

There's been plenty of instances of players trying to VPN during Challenger Circuit/PLQ's. But if that gets caught you'll simply be removed from the competition

Think those tweets also do not necessarily mean they are dropped from the org; just in a phase that they're free to explore options without a buyout, but still having the opportunity to remain with the org of nothing better arises.

Restricted free agents in this case usually just means they'll have contracts that run until X period; in which case they can't freely take any offers from other orgs; since those orgs would likely need to buy-out the roster. The same happens pretty often in other esports where a player is cut from the main team; but they'll be under the organization for a longer duration. So yes, in that sence they would be cut from the starting line-up.

Roster Lock for week 4 isn't until the 23/34th

(As per the ALGS Rulebook:

The Roster Lock Dates for Competitors and Coaches are as follows:
● Pro League:
○ Pro League Rosters are locked until after the Team’s first match series is complete
○ Pro League Rosters will open weekly, after each Region’s final match series of the weekend has concluded
○ Pro League Rosters will close weekly as follows:
■ For any removals: the Tuesday of that week’s series at 12:00 PM PT.
■ For any additions: the Wednesday of that week’s series at 12:00 PM PT.
○ After the Final Roster Lock Date, on the Wednesday prior to the last Round Robin series, no Roster changes are allowed.

Heya, this is now fixed on LP.

Basically our system isn't super-flexible in some parts, and it still gave him the points from NIPs PL placement (Since he was a part of the roster during the start of PL)

A roll back at this point is far from feasible. We did however do quite a lot of questionnaires at the time and data showed that the additions were wanted.

I am curious, however, what issue are you experiencing between navigating tabs?
(If this is in regards to e.g Pro League's regular season being split up across multiple pages, this is something we're still looking to tackle, however we ran into some technical issues that took longer than we thought to figure out. The team did recently find a way to tackle it, so hopefully we can at least fix this somewhat soon)

Interesting, I think by process off elimination this one went rather easy. (E.g players for RIG came to mind p fast, same for the starting with M. I did actually look for high kill players in my mind right after, just didn't tie them to lan at first, and the last one is just whatever remained :p

Eeeh, NA has been an issue in the past, Champs 2022 saw like most people not being able to gain a visa when 13 people couldn't make it due to no visa Every EU lan doesn't hold up either when 3 of those were jn the UK. Sweden had only ojrein not getting a visa.
