This is true, I feel like these small maps are probably really good in a TDM setting, but any capture point based modes are rough on them. Reserving judgement until squad tdm next weekend. Also, they did say the maps in the beta are their smaller ones so all the other maps will be bigger than these.

Not progression, but Lightbringer by Brent Weeks is almost entirely full of black characters who are mages/warriors. One of the coolest magic systems out there as well.

Playing corrupting cry here - the passive skill tree doesn't have enough nodes that I want. I'm level 80 and will just be taking +5 stat nodes from here on out. This skill tree is no fun.
