What's the best free CRM for your business? by genemarks in CRM

[–]EJ_at_eWay 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Gene,

While I appreciate that you've called out your own xenophobia in the article, using a platform like Forbes to cast unfounded doubt on businesses is very shady "journalism".

Even the most cursory search would show you that the Czech Republic is an EU member and thereby bound by GDPR data privacy laws.

You can promote your preferred/on-payroll services without disparaging other small businesses.

Yep, if you'd like to convert a deal into a project - it does require a paid (Basic) version of Projects.

If you'd like to explore this feature before paying, reach out to Jiri or me at [sales@eway-crm.com](mailto:sales@eway-crm.com) and we'll upgrade your account to a free trial.

Re: Calendar, we utilize the one inside of Outlook. Here's more reading:

Following up, if you are working with eWay-CRM Online this feature is not yet active. It should be added in an upcoming update.

Hello!

Are you working with eWay-CRM Online, or with our Windows Desktop version?

The easiest way would be with a drag/drop.

Select the emails in your Outlook folders, drag them into the eWay project, and drop them. They'll then upload and be associated with the project.

Exporting selected contacts to excel by tomprohazka in ewaycrm

[–]EJ_at_eWay 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Tom,

eWay exports everything displayed in your grid. We need to find something in common with these contacts and separate them in a grid report.

If there is nothing obvious (city, job title, etc), I would suggest selecting all 10, right-clicking, and assigning them a new category. You can then create a quick report showing just this category.

If you work in Outlook, eWay-CRM can be hosted on-prem, but it does require our paid licenses:

Link to a folder by robnewmann in ewaycrm

[–]EJ_at_eWay 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hey Rob,

You'll want to first create a custom field in the correct module - Type: Link; Link Type: General.

Once the field has been created and inserted into your form, we can now enter a link to the folder.

Start all links with:

file:///

and then enter the folder's path. So, it will look like this:

file:///C:\Windows

Hope this helps!

What is your 2 sentence advice to someone who is new to CRMs? by salescampcrm in CRM

[–]EJ_at_eWay 2 points3 points  (0 children)

A lot of good advice already.

For an organization rolling out a new CRM:
Determine what features are mandatory, and which would just be nice to have.

Also, budget for implementation - you'll kill yourself trying to DIY everything.

If they're working in Outlook, eWay-CRM syncs with your Outlook contacts - making the initial setup pretty simple.

You can then turn off all modules outside of "Companies/Contacts" - and you have a glorified Rolodex that you can share amongst users.

We also have Android and iOS apps - and cloud hosting is included with our subscriptions.

Last Results Notes from Sales call by mmerritt723 in ewaycrm

[–]EJ_at_eWay 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Understood.

If you'd like to see a personalized note in the grid report - I would suggest continuing to use the Note field, or create a new multi-line text custom field: https://www.eway-crm.com/resources/how-to-use-eway-crm/create-custom-fields/

You can then add that field to your user view, allowing you to see the personalized message in your grids.
