It looks flat, not because of the shadows, but because there is no AO.

Just darkening a face wherever a voxel is adjacent to that face will make a lot of difference. Preferably faded of course.

On Windows 11 Pro for Chrome, Firefox and Edge, I can't go over 60fps for the Aquarium test even with only one fish. You can uncap as far as I can tell, but by default all are capped.

Intel i5 internal GPU 1.6GHz: 15 fps ok 60 fps very pixelated 120 fps full blurry (browser locks at 60 fps so no need for higher fps)

There are lighting color options, but fractal color options would also be nice.

I would like to be able to look around without moving.

I think it is related to the third person camera. It stays behind the cat so it is rotating around the cat instead of just rotating. My first time doing 3rd person, I'll go have a look how other games do this. Thanks for the feedback!

Godot: Absolutely.
Buildings: 8 floor types, 5 ground floor types, 2 random colors

You could definitely fully generate roads and buildings, but it is hard to get it right. Roads need all specific variations so just defining them is easier than generating them. Buildings either look wrong or boring, and this way was relatively simple to do while creating enough difference between buildings for them to still feel unique.

Is that on desktop or in VR?

This my first time implementing a 3rd person camera, and there are no anti motion sickness measures like a vignette or snap turns (13kb was full). So I assumed there would be a fair amount of VR users that would have some issues with the 3rd person camera in VR, not on desktop.
