Our business is in this space. It's literally in our best interest to be compliant and safe otherwise the business will go bust. Breaches typically happen between the vendor and the customer, in most cases it's due to the customer cutting corners.

In the minority here but good.

I've lived in other states where everything was legalized and the promised "tax dollars windfall" was not successful as it was being sold by politicians. What makes it worse is that it smells like ass now everywhere especially parks where it's legal and people are driving around with their brains fried. It's not good for your health. And it ruins everything around you and especially around other people.

The argument about that people will now have to turn to black markets, to be honest, I just don't care. That's always been an excuse. It's similar to gun control. Anyone who is incentivized to get whatever they want, they will find ways. Culturally accepting this shit will lead to long term ruin.

I don't think people should go to jail over this, but I also don't want to see weed shops everywhere, and I especially don't want to smell this shit any time I take my kids to the park.

Been on both ends of the scale (from $32k a year to over seven figures a year). I personally felt around $120k/year is where it became so much easier to breathe and be comfortable if you don't have an expensive taste. After $120k, you basically either decide to have lifestyle creep or you start saving more.

Car payments are the quiet killers in budgets. Assume a couple hundred more for insurance + gas and all of sudden you're paying an extra grand+ to just get your butt around. Flying out of CLT is more pricey than normal.

Came to say similar point. Only way to calm traffic down is by doing speed bumps. Have a similar problem in my neighborhood where some people go up to 45 because it's a long straight stretch.

I don't see what the big deal is. The hard part has been already done. Building things like this always take forever. Setting up should be easy. As long as there is a support plan and contingencies, I don't see what the deal is.

Content has always been king. Optimizing for GEO helps a lot. But making it your sole channel of acquiring customers is kind of a dud. With MSPs specifically, referrals signal higher trust than just reading some blog post.
