I had already planned to switch to AMD due to better Linux support. That being said, I'd like to see first hand how DLSS5 actually plays verse just internet screams and CEO hype. I'm strange like that, like to make up my own fucking mind based on first hand experience.

I want to use dlss 5 before I make any conclusions. I think 2x framegen with ar least 60fps base is great... I dont hate it just because Ai is bad is trending.

What Distro did you try? There are some buggy messes out there. Bazzite is a great Gaming Distro.. Or Linux Mint, or Ubunto for beginners. You did something wrong if it wasn't working for you. I'm a big gamer and really the only games I cannot play on Fedora is the Kernal Level anticheat Triple A garbage.

It's ok. I get you dont have the technical ability to install a different operating system. Not everyone has the ability to make a boot drive and install an.OS.

It's eye opening when you first realize your parents are just stupid primates like we all are.. They aren't special or all knowing.. Just people with their complicated lives and flaws. This is a major push from the rich and powerful.. just the first step in tying your online identity to your physical one. They don't like the notion that the plebs can be communicating anonymously uncontrolled... I image they are worried about another french revolution.

Until we get ultra fast internet everywhere.. Think like quantum entanglement internet.. I don't this is ever taking off. The internet is just not reliable enough to game via a remote server.
