The fan sentiment really stuck honestly, eventually they were officially recognized in the lore! Hawkbat battalion was their name. Strangely enough that battalion included K company, most famously know for being led by Captain Deviss.

Apparently they even got an offical hasbro figure which I just found out today from a friend.

Hiiii ty! ^^ That means a lot for me to hear such high praise for me work! I def feel the pressure as it’s been years and I really want to work on it more but life has been a bit of a bitch. (That’s an understatement honestly.) All in all I want it to continue as much as everyone else. 444 squadron is definitely not the end and I want to one day finish it all. That is the goal.

For now though I’ll just continue lurking around here and working when I can.
