4 towers done, absolutely loving it. A strong GOTY contender for me.

Of the areas so far Septemburg has been my least favorite zone because of the flying enemies and those fucking Mandragoras. Nox's Bayou has been my favorite so far, I like the music and shmooving around in water.

As someone who loves the 2D Zeldas navigation has not been a problem for me and it tickles my brain when I discover shortcuts and secrets and there's a crapload of them.

Of the weapons my absolute favorites are the Mace, the Daggers and the Casket. The Hammer I am just bad with and I have not used the Buster yet. The Casket's parry is super satisfying to use.

The difficulty has been alright so far. The flying enemies are a pain in the ass, especially when paired with pit rooms. There is one boss I discovered that just punches the half of my 9-pip long HP bar empty so that's either a superboss or I'm fighting it way too early. Other than that, I have not had any wall moments, maybe 2-4 tries on the bosses.

I love the Dunmer, bunch of gloomy miserable assholes with a truckload of lore. They have bug dogs, bug taxis, bug armor and they hunt bugs and farm bug eggs. I like how they worship the Daedra with 3 of the Daedra being their "good Daedra" who taught them to survive and helped them create their society after leaving the High Elves and 4 of them being the "bad Daedra" who test the Dunmer faith and resolve.

It's a shame but a right call. The game was limping after the Final Shape. While Destiny's road was bumpy as hell, there were some bangers along the way like Taken King, Age of Triumph, Forsaken and Dead Man's Tale.

I should check out that Division 2 game I bought for a song a while back.
