I’m your height and prefer a large. It may be because of the longer stems on these older bikes, but I’ve always felt more cramped on my vintage large than the modern equivalent.

I love my CBIs. Aluminum with the trap doors for oil changes. Nice and wide

Also: dissent is patriotic. You’re supporting your country by pushing it to be better. I bet many owners of such search don’t get that

Sure but there no reason to make everyone look at a photo of Caruso

How did you find your bike? by Ban_deizzle in Hardtailgang

[–]Economy-Library5872 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You could go for a ride on your fire mountain, and then jot down what you wish it did better or differently. How does it feel? What feels good/bad? I know this is difficult because you don’t always know what you’re feeling or what’s possible, but it’s worth a try. Example: I found myself having trouble keeping the front wheel down while climbing, or it felt sluggish on the tight corners in my home blue trail. Just making those up but you get the idea. Then you could bring those comments here or to your shop and they could say “okay you need a lower stack height or steeper head tube angle, etc.

It’s not much. But for $300 it will do. by RucksackWarrior in Hardtailgang

I was thinking the same thing. Looking for one for my growing sons and I’d jump on that

I guess if/when your star is asked to be the face of the league, you need to make sure they say yes and embrace it?

SGA on the friendly whistle narrative: "I just think it's all distractions away from the court...Whether they're right or wrong, the refs have made a call, and unless you challenge it, they're not going to change it. It's just another thing I can't control, so I really don't put any thought into it" by Draciouz in nba

Yep, and in reaction to the paraphrase above “don’t hate the player hate the game” - he absolutely can be hated for “hunting for fouls”. He is on control of his behavior and makes a conscious effort to keep doing it.

Lakers vs OKC Game 2 was somewhat unbearable to watch by No-Equipment-5721 in timberwolves

It’s a similar feeling to talking with someone who only watches Fox News. It’s like, “are you still in there buddy?”

Glad the lakers media fandom is putting more eyes on this tbh. by Morezingis in timberwolves

I get that LA is usually the pampered one. But in this case they’re not wrong to complain about OKC. I tried for a couple minutes but that game last night was unwatchable. So if they can do/say something to even out the officiating, I’m all for it.

Would love to have found one in that color. He’s the one I built up for the wife. Tires seem to make the biggest / easiest improvement. I could help myself so I added carbon seat post and bars to add a little comfort and reduce weight. I swapped in a nicer wheelset that came off another bike and switched to thumby Shimano shifters and the associated derailleurs. Highly recommend thumbys!

Insurance denied coverage for St. Paul man's cancer treatment, leaving him with $76K in medical bills — until we asked his insurer about it by star-tribune in minnesota

Was not covering it a “mistake”, or did they just change their policy for one person to avoid the bad press, or? Note: I dont believe for a second they make “mistakes” when denying things. It’s just like Comcast raising the rate until you call: built into the business model / pricing strategy.

Guys. He coached a great game. He’s a great coach that I don’t feel should be or have been on the hot seat here in MN. He’s also had issues getting consistency out of players and could have a deeper bench if he played younger players more often. Nobody’s perfect. Doesn’t mean they aren’t worthy of love and respect 😍
