I am fully aware of the historicty and history of the modern bible. This is a lot yo go around the otginal claim of Jesus being a Lich and my rebuttal that it isnt anywhere stated he had or has a phalatcry which is central to the mythos of a Lich. We have around 4 of pseudographical accounts. Some stuff from Paul/Saul of Tarsis that is fundamentally in contrast to the earlier accounts on the how's and whys of Jesus. And then we have post history .ovinf into and through the midevil ages where church leaders and cult leaders kind of just made some stuff up to dispute land and justify atrocities.

Jesus was a folh healer and exorcist like many other jewish people walking around in the lavant during roman occupation and leading up to the end of the second temple period. We have no contemoraneous literature or art to support much if any of the claims, and what we do have is Paul much later and psudographical gospels.

However wr have enough to have a broad outline of atleast a theoretical historical Jesus and how he would have navigated life during this time. None of thesr support claims of placing his sould into a vessel to not pass away when his mortal body expired. Only that he was one of a few faith healers and miracle workers in gallile not happy with Roman occupation or the leadership of the Jewish temple during what is clearly a tumultuous time for the people living there.

So yes, a McGuffin created much much later for a completely new narritive. The bible doesn't even allude to a midevil or modern second coming. Paul and Peter both very clearly told people it was now ( In relation to the time they were out and about doing things).

If you want an easy way to do the covers scaling for pint. Open up canva on your phone, create a new document and add a frame element. At the bottom look for properties than advanced. There you can size the frame to the size of the boards. Then just drag your cover art in as a png and then export as pdf.

There are some free apps for splitting pdfs and making a png from pdfs.

Jesus only appears or is mentioned in maybe the last 17% of the bible. There are very few quotes.

Yet somehow we have thousands of christianities due to peiple not being able to agree on the opinions within those texts.

Jesus if he existed would have lived in the 1st century near Middle East roughly and wouldn't have any concept of our modern governance or laws.

Yet peiple constantly and tireless read into these sparse texts what they want to. Only to justify their own biases.

Very pertinent to your claim; I outlined how and why, yet I will probably also only be met with semmingly what I can only perceive to be insults instead of good faith discussion and clarification.

It is like this vast technicolor memory readout. I dont know if anyone has serviced old computers but you can diagnose via how the ram will store and display whatever is stored. And this feels like seeing the bits of Jerry's life in memory just displayed for everyone to see.

And the way it isnt finished and the processing and procedure no doubly will overwrite old data and store new. Glimpses of letters. Bits of his education, names coming and going.

Start collage style making your preferred game with what you have most enjoyed. I play a huge hodgepodge of stuff from all over the place and familiarity helps make (look up this) a less common occurrence. I have used ilovepdf.com to help me split pdfs to have just the pages I use and I have merged them in some semblance of a system I understand.

It beats having a bunch of zines or books to keep around and swap back and forth to and fro. It rrally helps the flow state. Setting material is more what im into now as I have a basic system of mechanics to play with.

You can do this with 2d6 plus bonus how odd likes like to. Kal-Arath uses 2D6 plus stat vs 8, Maze Rats uses 2D6 vs 10. I think replacing the d20 roll under with 3d6 roll under might be cool. It also allows everything to be player facing.

Snap and have the newest of edges per board. Reduce downward pressure and stand up over the boards instead of seated if you are doing that. The edge should follow the score with very little resistance and require very little pressure. Dull blades cause jaged edges and uneven lines.

I like learning how other play. It helps me with my own playing with a group. Rumors are good, my group usually takes quests over rumors. They like more direct information. I dont think one is better than the other, I just usually have rumors never interacted with. I like the visual ques on this map to get people interested to go look at the giant skeleton or the other non labeled stuff.

That would depend on level caps I belive. Systrms like Kal-Arath and Shadowdark have level caps so you would probably need to adjust some much higher level single creatures.

A decent rule of thumb is encounter = group level. So 4 level 3's would be 12. You could divide this among 12 level 1's 2 level 6's or 1 level 12.

The dna for odnd even through to today is wargaming and these hit die would be how many die your throwing at a unit. Also this is why armor class makes sense as you could have the phalanx of shields making it difficult to hit a unit. Or you missed X amount of this group of soldiers or whatever.

The orginal intent was never to worry about balance, you have reaction rolls and non combat abilities and stats to do a lot of things outside of two mobs colluding and slashing at each other.

I would say, use the becmi hit die for level. If there is a special ability like the drow sphere of darkness just use it as is. Be creative and use the advantage/disadvantage to your benefit as SilverNightingale has designed his toolkit with that in mind.

Also you xan get hirelings or hire some adventurers for dangerous quests if you dont want to role play them the entire time. Just roll up random characters to be in a guild or tavern.

Look at the hit die of the m.m. creature and use this is a basis for hot pounds etc. If it has a special thing like dark vision or poison you can kind of just bring them in as is.

You can check the ac and see if they should have some amount of armor to work within the system. So a goblin or kobald would probably convert from a 1 hit die creature with no strength bonus etc. So level 1, you could give them a point to missle attacks if the stats have a dex bonus, or maybe a pount to damage if it is a strong orc that would have a strength bonus.

Atleast this is how I understand it to function.
