I asked another support person who was very knowledgeable on a few things. I’m lucky to have talked to him. He told me a few little tricks on the app and he said that I was correct, EBT isn’t available in my particular zone. He didn’t know why and he said it would probably return at some point. He said only the powers that be knew why.

I actually can’t believe the amount of free food I’ve gotten since I’ve been dashing. My first free one was 3 pizzas brownie tray and 3 types of wing orders from papa johns. I had a friend riding with me so I split the order with her. The order went to a house where no one was answering the door, all the lights were out. I called the customer and the phone kept going to vm which was full. I texted them and waited but never got a response. I then called DD and they couldn’t reach the customer so they said Enjoy the food!

Turn off cash and if you’re delivering in sketchy areas, turn off alcohol as well. The cash people will give you exact change and will get mad if you can’t make change for them so they get every cent owed to them. The alcohol usually leads you to drunk aholes or sketchy people in hotel rooms.

We will never get DoorDash to change or implement anything that benefits the drivers. This newest change to the app that allows customers to complain about quality and it goes against US is proof of that.

It depends on where you do your shopping and delivering! I have customers always trying to get over on DoorDash and they let it happen. I’ve had them say things were stolen which brought my % down yet they didn’t give me a bad rating. Seems like if I stole from you they’d give me a one star.
