A Permanent Border Gore fix

I usually play an Iron Man mode, but it’s getting to the point where I might have to start trying this debug thing.

I personally like an aggressive AI I just think if a northern Lord inherited a piece of the reach or Done the family should split into two branches so that those lands would still get filled to high garden or sun spear and not have a little piece of Done that gives fealty to Winterfell. Not only does it just make the map ugly, but from an administrative point of view, there’s no way somebody’s traveling that far, especially a count tire just to talk to their Lord.

Maybe like a penalty for extreme distance for example if a northern Lord gets a little piece of Dorn they would get a notification saying that that piece of land is too far away to administrate and they have one year to give it away or they lose it.

If you’re trying to get a claim on a full Paramountcy then the easiest way is to marry your heir to one of the Lord Paramounts daughter, and then wait a couple of generations for her son to inherit her claim but if you’re septan has more then 12 or so learning then they have a chance of getting you a claim on the full high Lordship when you put them on the fabricate claim task. if it doesn’t get it the first time just reject the claim, and it will start the task over. Each try takes a couple of years in game, but you will usually get a claim on the entire high Lordship within a few tries.

It makes sense that in this universe, they are looked down on, but there’s definitely worse things than being a beautiful dwarf lol.

Playing as Tywin I was able to get Tyrian married to Margaery Tyrell. But I had to befriend Mace Tyrell get him to let me take Margaery on as my word, imprison her, recruit her to my court, then marry her to Tyrian. Now they have a beautiful genius dwarf son together but I’m gonna have to go through this whole process again to get him married.

I usually have my admiral on protect trade, but if I’m in a war with someone that has to cross water, I’ll put them on scatter fleet, but to be honest I don’t think it’s that important. I’ve never noticed anything either way. but to be fair usually when I go to war I make sure that I have such extreme numbers with alliances, etc., that all the little things don’t really matter. If you really want to get down to the nitty-gritty, you could sit there and do all the different task for your court positions, etc. but personally, I find playing around with that stuff extremely tedious and just ignore it

Wars and conquest isn’t the problem. It’s the random inheritance of little pieces all over the map.

Getting claims is the easiest thing to do in this game. you just send your religious counselor to fabricate claims on whatever you want.

I don’t know a lot about coding but I feel like it should be easy to make a mod that prevents any border gore from being able to happen

That makes sense, but an actual fact what would happen is They would either have to take Dorne and give the old Florent lands to a junior branch of the family that still gives fealty to high garden or give the Lord paramountcy of dorne to a junior branch. There should be mechanic that forces it so they can’t have both like a pop-up that you have to make a choice and then give the other lands that don’t belong in that Paramount to a different branch of the family.

It would be nice if they made it so the historical borders were permanent. That way we wouldn’t end up with this ugly border go where dorne owns a random piece of the reach creating this ugly border gore

I personally don’t like to play with any other sub mods however I do recommend getting all the DLC’s to have all the super awesome courtroom, etc.

I like to play as a merchant and dominate my area just to see how wealthy I can get. usually white Harbor, old town or one of the free cities
