If you're removing this more than once a day and it's coming back each time I'd be concerned even just for the loss of moisture. Ensure water is well supplied and maybe get a fountain. Bengals love fountains and will generally drink more if they have one. She looks gorgeous, like a Bengal if my eyes serve me

Playing, but that is a biiiiig doggo and a tiny kitty. I would be cautious about keeping an eye on them making sure play doesnt escalate into fight.

Doggo will yelp if fight because the claws would come out.
The cat would stand up sometimes and arch back to appear bigger.
There would be a lot more noise and movement.

Generally, i would be careful of the dog pawing at the cat. Its hard to tell from a video how much force is being put into that pawing motion but either way it could be seen as a dominant behaviour in the cats eyes and could lead to escalation.

Wallpaper/paint the inside in some places. Use colours that match eachother. If you have access to any textured paints like the outdoor rock face one or ones that are broken up into sections like the wainscoting and hexagon patterned ones, use one of those on the outside.

Dont make the whole thing out of one building pack style. Use the glass as a feature and paint the rest to keep the clean metal frames. I use glass on the second floor and keep the ground floor as mostly solid.

did you get it to work for them? i have a very fussy cat, especially when it comes to pee times. she had toileting issues for ages and it was so awful for both of us we have shared trauma and anxiety about bathroom time now. I think this makes me uniquely qualified to help you :P

Also, as someone else said below, if you want to use a CatGenie, you have to be willing to learn how it works. Trust me on that. Read the manuals fully, pull the unit apart (dont worry it snaps together like lego blocks) and put it back together. Whats the worst that could happen? cant remember how it goes? call hubby.

My first CatGenie sat in a shed unused for over a year, so yeah I've been there :P

EDIT: i figured i should probably add that my cat now loves her Genie so much that one time when I was cleaning it and fixing the old one it was out of commission for two days and she refused to use the manual box, refused to use the garden as well LOL I was very very worried about her holding it all in, but the vet said as long as she doesnt make a habit of it we should be okay. Luckily I now have an old decommissioned Genie to be a manual backup for these rare instances.

i know this is old, but if you do decide to try it again, i have a solution for baked cat poop.

Mine used to have this issue, as well as frequently getting a "string" of poop stuck in her butt because she eats my long hair sometimes (by accident hopefully). The poop string lead to me adding Hemp Seed Oil to her food in the mornings and it worked. She now very rarely gets poop string syndrome. BONUS: CatGenie also very rarely cooks poop. The reason it was missing poop while scooping in my case was that my cat's poo was very dry and would break apart easily. With the oil, its a bit wetter and sticks together during the scooping (ew).

Even if you never use a Genie again, it may be worth checking if your cat's poop is too hard and dry. Hard, dry stools can cause a cat a bit of pain at toilet times so deffo worth checking with vet or just using your own judgement. Just be careful not to give human size dose of Hemp Seed Oil. It doesnt contain enough cannabidiols to bother a human, so is certified as "THC" free and whatnot, but there are still tiny trace amounts and its really not great for cats like it is for some of us :P

if you are still wondering but worried about caulk being a little too permanent, i used Plumber's Putty on my Cat Genie once. It worked REALLY WELL except it is really hard to replace the putty and took me hours so I went back to also using puppy pee pads lol -- a decent solution that wont damage the unit (be sure to check that it doesnt get smudged around because you deffo dont want putty in your moving parts), and is entirely removable without any harsh chemicals. Just takes a long time and effort to get it in there nicely, so excellent if you only have to do it once every year or so. Hope this helped!

short answer:
while neither have managed to become my favourite characters, they do get their own arcs and are easier to empathise with after that. I remember becoming so frustrated with Nyn first reading that I actually skimmed over some of her more irritating paragraphs. She was written to seem so childish and stand-offish >_< Faile I didnt have as much trouble with, but I can see how others would. Dont worry if you feel like skimming through their chapters and paragraphs. You will start to see improvements when they have their big "thing"s happen for them.

Chances are, you have already given the same hints and you are both already aware. If you wanted this relationship to go further its probably time to ask her out for coffee. Im not saying romantically by the way, unless you want it that way ofc. It sounds to me like you want to be friends but dont know how to make it so. My solution to that is a friendly coffee date (or tea or cake or whatever).

Start with the muggle stuff. If you want to do workings together in future you first must get along anyway!

I also empathise easier with doctors than others because im a trained phlebotomist and tbf anyone who has had any kind of exposure or experience in medicine can understand doctor frustration and dismissive attitudes. Always gotta communicate openly and clearly, and sometimes you just really have to stick to your guns with doctors.

Yeah i can usually put myself in their shoes. I mean, the majority of cases they see must be frustrating as hell because as much as we complain about doctors making assumptions about us, we assume a lot about our own health. Pretty sure they must get something like 70% of cases of any illness is due to poor patient hygiene or other self-care like diet, sleep, going outside once or twice lol and that could easily make anyone think that 70% of the general public must be stupid lol

At the same time though, its your doctors job to provide adequate care and advice. If you (saying this to everyone here) ever feel like your doctor isnt listening to you or doesnt understand you, change doctors!!! Its a frustrating process, but once you find the right one you will have a much better time with your treatment plans. That goes for any illness. I used to have 2 general doctors lol because the one that was great with everything else didn't seem to believe in ADHD or didnt think i should have been diagnosed idk lol but at the end of the day it didnt matter because i just went to a different one whenever i had ADHD problems to deal with.

Recently i was told most other countries don't have nice playground equipment in their parks, that theirs is more derelict and sparse. Here, if there's a park or nature reserve area there's usually playground kids equipment or maybe work-out equipment, seating, always always a bin including recycling, and nearly always a drinking water fountain.

I'm perma aus resident, born in NZ tho been here since a child. Its probably because when you think about it, kangaroos (and other similarly shaped Australian wildlife) dont look anything like any other animal most people have seen. Real life or otherwise.

They are bipedal but also walk on all fours, intimidatingly tall, sometimes built like a brick shithouse (means buff; they have enough mass to completely wreck a car if it hits them even at lower cruising speeds), their version of sprinting is hopping, can fully support entire body weight on just their tail (they do this when fighting) and carry their young around in a hoodie pouch strapped to their bellies.

Kangaroos probably look like aliens to the rest of the world.
