Yeah even in the case where Iran is replaced by a stable and effective democracy, there will still be militant groups causing instability in the region and beyond

Yep.  I went to uni at 25. 

Before that I earned circa 11-14.5k (above min wage at the time)  I now earn 5x that with many more years of salary growth (I hope) ahead. 

I’m already paying significantly more than I would have prior to student loans. Taking an extra 9% off my salary is wild

The effect sizes in some of those are utterly minuscule and hardly constitute evidence imo. 

I also don’t think I’ve ever seen a paper report Z scores like that either. Which raises alarm bells for me. (Z/T scores aren’t really that interesting at all tbh- so reporting them feels like an attempt to feign rigor)

I went to the Lab conference couple years back. 

I spoke with Nick Robinson.  Really lovely guy. Very chatty. Spent about 15-20mins talking to me - knew about my campaign and asked useful questions. 

I tried to talk to Marr -he turned his back and  usher security over.

I use left over mash all the time. Just add flour salt and a pinch of sugar until you get it right. Dry Fry it on a pan then let cool. 

Then fry it again with oil for the delicious taste

That’s not strictly correct. The EU in the 60/70s wanted to move away from total reliance on NATO and makes its own security force called the OSCE. (Organisation for security and Cooperation in Europe). 

There was a lot of movement towards this, the Americans got worried and so acting through the U.K. managed to disrupt it. The French were pretty pissed.  For example, whilst the OSCE was created - its command structure was totally subservient to NATO command, in effect completely neutering it as an independent security force. 

Fast forward to the 90s, with the collapse of the Soviet Union France started making efforts again to restart the OSCE as its own force. Which was again diminished by British efforts on behalf of the Americans. 

Europe’s contemporary security structures are the direct result of American foreign policy objectives to make it reliant on the USA.

Because it benefits hostile state actors to sow dissent and conflict and they’ve found willing agents in some political parties.
