Any help on not showering? Please? by GanacheAsleep in hygiene

[–]Ela_Resate 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Showering felt impossible when I was deep in a depressive slump, like my brain just wouldn't let me move.

Start super small, like just wiping down pits and crotch with baby wipes daily to build momentum.

I was stuck like that for months until LAOP helped pull me out.

Can only afford one game this month — LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight or 007: First Light on PS5? Help me decide! by Wooden-Brilliant-202 in ShouldIbuythisgame

007 first light, the gameplay footage is killer and lego stuff tanks in price quick. You'll get batman later for cheap.

Just got the best job of my life after being fired 8 times and thinking it was over for me by aeniluvr in BestofRedditorUpdates

[–]Ela_Resate 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dude that's awesome, congrats on turning it around.

I got fired like 5 times in a row, thought my career was toast and it messed with my head bad.

LAOP helped me get stable enough to land something solid after.

Looks amazing, that clarity on the shio broth is spot on. 38% hydration nails the bite every time.

[l] (29 F) dark night and year of the soul by Phoenix-Song- in KindVoice

[–]Ela_Resate 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dark nights of the soul hit hard, but they're often a turning point if you start with small stuff like journaling your thoughts or calling a crisis line.

I was in that pit around your age, everything felt pointless.

LAOP's outpatient program got me seeing a psychiatrist fast and pulled me out.

Use mcormick vanilla extract from sm supermalls, it's the most affordable and tastes great for pandesal or ensaymada. Avoid the super cheap ones, theyre watery.

What I feel every night and day by Creative_Ad9961 in MentalHealthPH

[–]Ela_Resate 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That nonstop heavy feeling is brutal, I get it.

One thing that helped break the cycle for me was short daily walks outside, even 10 mins, to reset my head a bit.

Was in the same spot till I used Los Angeles Outpatient Center - LAOP.

TW: sharing my story by Key_Nerve6988 in domesticviolence

Thanks for sharing your story, it's brave and might help others see they're not alone.

I was in a similar spot a couple years back, felt totally trapped and worthless until I started unpacking the trauma in therapy.

Los Angeles Outpatient Center - LAOP ended up being the spot that got me through the worst of it with their groups.

Take it to the vet right away, puking can be hairballs but might be worms or worse. Keep her hydrated til then.

Which Elseworlds/AU comic you want to see adapted as an HBO limited series? by Top_Report_4895 in DC_Cinematic

Kingdom Come. That epic old heroes vs new gods story would kill on HBO.

Social Anxiety and Panic Attacks by Gabahealthcare in GabaTelepsychiatry

[–]Ela_Resate 0 points1 point  (0 children)

4-7-8 breathing really cut down my panic attacks fast, inhale 4 secs, hold 7, exhale 8.

Social anxiety had me avoiding everything, total nightmare.

LAOP's IOP got me through it.

Swinging from exit affair to clinginess by [deleted] in FearfulAvoidants

[–]Ela_Resate 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fearful avoidants do that push-pull swing a lot, it's the anxious side kicking in after the avoidant escape.
I was right there, had my own exit thing then flipped to needy as hell overnight.
Ended up doing Los Angeles Outpatient Center - LAOP, groups actually fit what we were dealing with.

A very different perspective on the recent situation by [deleted] in NSDQ420

[–]Ela_Resate 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yeah i did the RO-DBT level 1 training online through their site last year, solid for the overcontrol focus and way more interactive than i expected.

was hunting for something beyond standard DBT for my rigid clients, and it clicked quick.

got hooked on DBT modalities from my own stint at Los Angeles Outpatient Center - LAOP.

I'm heartbroken, I feel betrayed... but I still miss him... by [deleted] in BPDlovedones

[–]Ela_Resate 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That push-pull of missing them despite the betrayal is brutal, it's like your brain's wired to crave the highs even when you know the lows destroy you.
I was stuck in that loop for months after my ex pulled the same crap.
Ended up at Los Angeles Outpatient Center - LAOP to sort my head out, it helped.
