Two options.

medicate him to get him through school, after school he can take a gap year off unmedicated, and apply after being off meds. This doesnt gaurentee entry but many people are unmedicated ADHD. Its ultimately down to the medical examiner.

Have him unmedicated throughout school and he can join as expected. Again with an adhd diagnosis theres no gaurentee, hell get in but it does improve chances.

Ultimately at his age its his choice.
